- This is the backyard, Last week I took care of the front yard for this veterans family. This week I had a chance to transform their back yard. It was pretty overgrown. I had to cut back the branches they had by the fences. One was dead and completely blocking a big part of their yard. There were a lot of dog doo doos in the yard because they have 2 big dogs, but I still was able to get it all done. It took me a little less than 6 hours and 3 separated days because we kept getting some rain. Over all I think it turned out well. Let me know in the comment of what you think about the transformation. It sure was a challenge for me. Glad was able to help this family. Thanks everyone. I will see you next week.

I had 2 dogs and a smaller backyard. and I always picked up after my animals . That is the Responsible thing too do. You would not allow your child to walk around with soiled britches. I am a Veteran myself.
I, too, am a veteran. I also pick up poop after my dogs. However, 4 years ago when I broke my neck, it didn’t get picked up too often. And now on the days when I have my chemo treatments, I don’t pick it up. Sometimes people are hanging on by their fingertips. We don’t know the whole story here.❤❤

@@debwilkinson3672 That home has been neglected for a long long long time. This just didn't happen over night. I understand all of the comments but come on. The garbage. At least throw the garbage out. If you can summon up the strength to throw it out the door you can hit the garbage can.
That yard must smell like crap! They should be ashamed of themselves to have someone else clean up their mess! The poor dogs are traipsing all that 💩 into the house as well as their bed!

If he's not a disabled Vet, he could have at least picked up the dog poop before you came back to do the backyard, or had someone pick it up.

That dog poop will now be used as manure. All bad things can be turned into good things....😅
There could other medical reasons as to why he couldnt and or cant do certain things. Dont judge when there is no facts.

The vet served our country using his gifts n abilities. This guy serves our community using his gifts n abilities. Big, small, in between does not matter. Do for others. ❤
Mr. Chris, you are a kind man. You did more than what was reasonably expected. Hopefully, homeowners will be able to clean up after the dogs.

WOW what a JOB WELLDONE MrCris!!! It doesn't even look like the same yard in the back LOL I bet you were totally exhausted on this job. You hung in there and with a determination to see it through. I hope and pray somebody will be able to keep it nice in that home. You did a BEAUTIFUL job and a LABOR of LOVE...God is Blessing you MrCris.
Another several days and multiple hours. Thank you for getting this place cleaned and back on track. I suspect that a standard idea of "cleaning up land mines" for maybe 20 minutes before starting probably wouldn't work with such tall growth. You couldn't necessarily see them. However, if you can, please wear mouth, eye protection on mowing days like that, so the flung matter doesn't get in your eyes, nose, mouth. The other side of that, is I bet you had to thoroughly clean your mower after each round. Out of your diligence and kindness, not only is the yard going to be back to usable, neat, pleasant, the dogs will have room to run around. 12:40, there is a remarkably nice backyard in all that overgrowth. These folks need to contact a VFW or an American Legion. There are many who would help them. I belong to them both and have cut lawns, done yardwork help move, take them to doctor appointments and many other things. You did a great job for them, sir.

Amazing job - the home looks completely different from the start. I am a dog lover, but they sure do give us humans a hard time once in a while. Well worth it in my humble opinion.

My father was also a " vet " and he always looked after his property. Would never have had rubbish hoarding, even if he only spent 15mins a day cleaning up. Also family were not allowed to dump

We train our dogs to use one area as their potty area and we maintain it. It’s just lazy and nasty otherwise.
