Nothing better than new gear, but when its warm gear it matters. Here in Canada that is something I look for. I haven't had to buy anything in years but this sounds like a warm jacket.
Chicago here ... the coldest -30 (only had a motorcycle for 2.5 years before I purchased a new car) so been in all kinds. worst was when it was snowing pretty hard and needless to say I found out how small my balls actually were. LOL. as for gear, I have a nice snow suit/carhartt for those super cold days or the toys for tots run. leather has been upgraded to alpine star sport jacket. in winter I have layers and will be investing into some heated gear. keep up the fun. and hope nothing too bad happened with the latest storms. cheers.
@@chiguy_ thanks for watching and answering the questions!! Yeah -30 is a no way for me. LOL I’ve been seriously considering trying some heated gear but am a cheap ass and can’t see the value prop to invest in something I need 1.5 months of the year. Storms were west of us so, thankfully, we saw little to no impact. Always ride safe!
In KY I don’t ride below 50 degrees. I’d like to get warmer gear but I’m on a budget. Thanks for the information and review. I’d like to consider this jacket myself
@@Alan-l2b5s I find you can ride comfortably in a lined leather coat with a few layers under it (short sleeve t shirt, long sleeve t shirt, and sweatshirt) with riding jeans and long underwear. I really only add my leather pants if the temps are below 40. Thanks for watching and commenting! Always ride safe.
First Manufacturing do make good, fair priced gear. I have a leather vest and chaps i bought back in 2009. They still are like new. Just bought a new sharp shooter vest from them this year, too. I wear them when it is cold. Vest over my leather jacket. Summer is just my long sleeve t-shirt or on long rides, my flannel jacket with padding.
@@James-Eddie-Insley thanks for answering my question!! I know when we rode there in the summer of 23 I was surprised at how cool it was in late July early August. Always ride safe brother!!
Hope you and family are safe post hurricane!
@@Clancy-ig8zt we are! Thank you for the concern. The storm hit about 2 hours west of us so we weren’t really affected. Always ride safe brother.

@@HarleyGurl114 it really is. And versatile. I’ll be doing a review of it probably in December. Thanks for watching and commenting. Always ride safe.
@@jst_moto I will watch for it!!
