    Spot on (no pun intended)! I observed the same thing actually, that in some conditions, my hand eye coordination was way better and that I had to actively force myself to move my eyes to look were I wanted to aim on the screen, instead of just waiting for it appear in my aim sight because of my hand/ arm movement. I can explain it biologically because of the involved area of the eye (the fovea) is the one involved in recognition of faces and scriptures and is much more precise (more receptors and more Neurons wired to these) than final periphery, but it was hard for me to get to teach myself to use this to my advantage, it's hard to do consciously because you have the habit of "3d movement" so instead of when your image on screen is fixed like in Windows, your brain expects your target to be moved by your arm into your central sight. If you do it actively you earn some precious tenth of seconds of massive precision.
    I guess that "focusing" orthoptic exercices might help if you find these on the Internet. But THIS is a very good start.

    Great video. A thing that helped me improve instantly was just looking at aiming as simply the change in perspective that all I am doing is moving the screen so the target is in the center. Very different feel that I think makes it easier to maintain a focus but also peripherally still process more information.

    @Dazs this is a great video because i notice that a lot of the time when i get into high pressure fights i tend to focus on all the surrounds and the crosshair disappears. At that moment i may over come short of slightly overshoot. That make sense to work on the eyes focus so my crosshair wont disappear when i get into the action.

    Hitting the nail on the head when you said when moving between two targets your mind basically cant process whats happening and it causes you to lose focus on your crosshair.
    I actually had a mod menu on bo2 that allowed me to slow down time while shooting bots. It was an awesome mod that let me play in slow motion and see in slow motion. Its so much easier to play in slow motion because you can process everything that is happening. The mod menu also let me speed up the game. As you can imagine, i could barely even keep up with my tracking, but as soon as i put it back to normal speed i felt like i was in slow motion because i got use to the fast pace speed. I just feel like processing what you are seeing makes the game way more easier.

    • @Dazs
      @Dazs  3 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      I would be down, but the issue I see is that you can stare in one spot but your eyes are also looking almost in two places at once. Does that make sense? Ever stare at something but can still capture everything at the corner of your eye?

    • @Bludflag
      @Bludflag 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I've seen an eye tracker with a noob (well, the average enthusiast) and a pro using it. The major difference was the pro constantly keeping his eyes on the crosshair but moving it around to snap onto locations with potential targets (and like Dazs indicated, taking advantage of peripheral vision) while the normal guy kept looking around while keeping his crosshair just lying around in the middle of nowhere and taking too long to snap to enemies to shoot. The test was conducted in COD IIRC.

    Love your videos! I was just looking up this type of video earlier this morning and then you uploaded this! Love to see it lol. Random question, what is the electric handwarmer that you use? I've seen it in some of your previous videos and have been meaning to ask.

    Before you play Apex Legends, just boot up your firing range, get those dummies out and try and survive without healing as much as possible. This means you kill one batch of enemies, you don't heal. You go on to kill next batch, then next batch and so on. Eventually the dummies will kill you, and when they do thats your PR. Next day when you play you have to beat this PR. This may sound silly, but its really hard to survive without healing. It also kind of gives you that feeling of pressure when you play normal BR. It worked wonders for me, you should try it out too.
