More tutorials please. You’re the only player that made straight forward, very easy to follow tutorials and not to mentioned the effort you put into editing and production is insanely good. Please keep up the great work especially when the mvc collection is dropping soon.
The block stun out of push block can be explained very simply: when you push block, the end of the push block animation technically puts you back to a neutral state. You can do anything you want the moment your push block ends. Normally you don't notice this because you're still holding back, but it's what allows you to, say, DP through the last wave of HSF. Most significantly, this is what lets you have a way out of Duc and Clock infinite block strings
Sure that's one way to put it! But you didn't mention how push blocking skews your block stun frames (reduces block stun frames), which is why you're able to get out of block stun by letting your stick go to neutral when you otherwise wouldn't have been able to. It's not necessarily important info to know to be able to pull off a trick like this, but I'm the type of person that likes to have a deeper understanding of these more nuance and weird mechanics. And I made sure to include that in this video because I know others also like that type of info as well!
Yup pretty much. You don't have to hold back the ENTIRE time you're blocking but you can if you want to (in some cases it's actually preferred to hold back the entire time to avoid accidentally unblocking when you weren't supposed to). The KEY THING is to let the stick go to neutral AFTER you push block because that ensures that you stop blocking as earlier as possible to give yourself as much time as possible to super jump out
@@FilthGnasty it would be a great help bc we don't have guides for how to combo with the cast. there isn't any guide to combo with characters like guile nor air combo videos
I'll be honest, I really only play high tier characters but I'll look into making more content with more of the cast bc I know not everyone is trying to sweat it out with the top tiers
Yeah it's very possible that you did it by accident if you spammed super jump after a push block or something lol. But now you know exactly how to do it 👌
There's actually lots of scenarios where you could apply this guard cancel technique tho, not just to get out of HSF. It's commonly used to get out of strider doom traps for example. Mess around with it!
@@FilthGnasty I've not played very many strider doom teams who were any strong usually I could manage to punish the assist and take him out with some ease I always find the assist opens up easier than the main anchor so im able to take advantage that way but it's not a.perfect scenario

So you saying to hold back while push blocking. Then release the joystick to neutral right?

I have a hard time guard canceling out of any super
What up vidfreak. What other supers are you trying to guard cancel out of?
@@FilthGnasty heart of darkness
that one is pretty tricky just because it's hard to tell what exactly is hitting you and when. it's possible though! maybe i'll make a video one day
are you excited for the collection
Dude, excited is an understatement. I'm counting the days!
Now the real question is how do u combo in this game im very lost 😢
Yo! I have a beginners guide that might help out. However, I can also look into making a short video that focuses on how to do combos 🙂

I think I've done this just cause I adv guard frequently not really knowing it's purpose
