- Gospel Legend, Tramaine Hawkins, sings a wonderful rendition of Amazing Grace for her daughter-in-law, Myiia ‘Sunny’ Hawkins at her home-going. Sunny was the wife of Jamie Hawkins, who is the son of the late, gospel legend, Bishop Walter Hawkins and Tramaine. Sunny died on September 4, 2023 as a result of her long battle with cancer. She leaves to cherish not only her husband, but her 6 children.

I promoted her and Nigel to Tulsa Oklahoma at the Performing Arts Center, she gave an amazing concert ❤ my condolences to her and family 🙏🏾 I get blessed every morning "I Wake Up Singing" and I thank her from the bottom of my heart, how her music along with Helen Baylor saved me from an early grave❤ Strength, Comfort and Peace 🕊️🕊️

Sunny was Tramaine's daughter-in-law. She passed earlier this month; around the 5th or 6th, I believe.
