I don't understand how Indiana isn't a lock; they are undefeated and if the Ohio State game is even remotely close they'll barely fall in the rankings, and they'll end 11-1. You can't play anything but what you've been scheduled and IU not making the playoffs as even an 11-1 team would be crazy.
@@passivlyoffsideagain, you can only play your schedule. IU has been killing teams all year, they didn’t have a single game closer than 14 points until Michigan. If Ohio State or Georgia had the same schedule as IU and beat the crap out of them all like IU did, they would be a lock right now, but since it’s IU they aren’t getting any respect. Any 11-1 team not being top 12 is just insane.
If Indiana loses this game badly, they will drop significantly and be judged next to teams like SMU and Georgia rather than Texas Penn State and Tennessee. They could be left out for sure. They have their shot to beat Ohio State to remove all doubt though, it's in their control. I don't know how you can ask for much more than that!
The SEC-ESPN-CFP cabal is awful for college football, and it’s only going to be worse as playoffs expand. The more teams, the more angling for marginal teams to get in. Ruining the sport.
How many Big Ten teams do you see getting in?

BYU fan here and I totally agree
Indiana has no wins of merit. 0 top 25 wins

@@passivlyoffside Neither does Texas… playing a bad schedule doesn’t make you a bad team. These schedules are made years in advance
How is Bama and Penn State in first category but not Tennessee? Your definition of your own category doesn’t back this up
I don't think Georgia will be in if they have 3 losses, even if the third loss is in the CCG
