I was assigned to research Fanny Mendelssohn and nothing analysed this video quiet as passionately as you did in this one. I hate that she is not recognised as greatly as she deserves to be but great job on the video.
I really love (!) the music of Mendelssohn - both of them. Great that you covered Fanny's here, unfortunately she's often forgotten. Four years ago I conducted some of her songs for mixed choir which are also beautiful!
In my opinion, she must have been a very interesting character. Her music proposal in this piece is intriguing. I felt - more than understood - what Jesse explained. And the end presented this final gasp, which was surprising yet not completely unexpected. Thanks for the experience!
