As a little girl, I had an aunt who lived far away. Every Christmas she would send a gift box full of “ bits and bobs”. She was a very creative person, and you just never knew what would be in the box. It was one of the best Christmas treasures and memories I have. Watching you gather together things to put together reminded me of my dear Aunt Knotty. You, too, are a treasure that has entered my life, inspiring my creative side daily.

Because of this video I started my own EPP star project a month ago. I added 6 pale grey diamonds around each star which creates a hexagon. It adds more negative space, and I'm hoping it will make it easier to put them together. I have 4 finished. From Southern California.

As I am watching this very enjoyable video on my tv screen, you just opened that box full of Liberty fabric and I am absolutely in awe! There is so much and it’s so beautiful! I could watch a video of you just showing every fabric piece in that box 😊🥰 lovely! I have found some scrap bundles for purchase and you have inspired me to make EPP Hexies with them. Such pretty and soft fabric.

I am loving the English paper piercing! I’ve never seen this before so I decided to give it a try. Making my granddaughter a pillow to match her quilt I just finished. I love your videos so much!!!
I believe what you need for the pillow is (6) strips of each color, not (12). I cut (12) of each and that makes (24) strips. Looking at your pillow, there are (12) rows all together. Just a quick clarification for those who give this pillow a try. Kudos to Kate’s sewing skills to get the points matching up so well, I’m on my second attempt! Have never tried 1 1/2” strips before, not easy!

Kate: Have you thought about making simple storage type boxes with your left over fabrics? I have been using excess batting and left over fat quarters, etc. They are simple and I believe would sell well in your emporium

New subscriber here! I am enjoying watching your process and seeing your lovely quilts. I would like to make a suggestion for your a project Linas quilts. Make them crib sized! For me that’s the width of the fabric by One and a half yards. That’s usually 45 inches by fifty four inches less whatever trimming you have to do to square it up. That size is perfect for a crib sized batting plus, it’s big enough to actually use. I made all my granddaughters a quilt that size about ten years ago. I have six granddaughters and one Granddaughter aged daughter ( she was born the year my oldest son graduated high school, and two years before my oldest granddaughter ) for a total of seven. I need to redo it because they have used them for their own children, and for the sofa, and bed. They have been well washed and are looking pretty used. This time, I will include the boys so it will be a total of a total of 15! It will take me two or three years!
I have not been able to purchase from you until now as shipping to the USA is expensive. One way to reduce the number of bad addresses is to ask buyers to confirm their addresses when you let them know that you've received their order. Adress confirmation is especially important when you are paying international postage. 💖🌞🌵😷

Karen, I have all of Kate's books and while they are not stamped and signed, she did include a separate lively signed card with the cat stamp and I keep them all together. It was so wonderful to read these little storirs and have the keepsake card. 🐈🐈🐈🐈
Kate: Have you thought about making simple storage type boxes with your left over fabrics? I have been using excess batting and left over fat quarters, etc. They are simple and I believe would sell well in your emporium

I love watching these sewing videos and my sewing journey since 2010 which is now 13 years old and still going strong and been card making since 2007 - 2023 and started hot foiling on to my fabrics and look stunning with the foiled detail and looks amazing

New subscriber here! I am enjoying watching your process and seeing your lovely quilts. I would like to make a suggestion for your a project Linas quilts. Make them crib sized! For me that’s the width of the fabric by One and a half yards. That’s usually 45 inches by fifty four inches less whatever trimming you have to do to square it up. That size is perfect for a crib sized batting plus, it’s big enough to actually use. I made all my granddaughters a quilt that size about ten years ago. I have six granddaughters and one Granddaughter aged daughter ( she was born the year my oldest son graduated high school, and two years before my oldest granddaughter ) for a total of seven. I need to redo it because they have used them for their own children, and for the sofa, and bed. They have been well washed and are looking pretty used. This time, I will include the boys so it will be a total of a total of 15! It will take me two or three years!
I have not been able to purchase from you until now as shipping to the USA is expensive. One way to reduce the number of bad addresses is to ask buyers to confirm their addresses when you let them know that you've received their order. Adress confirmation is especially important when you are paying international postage. 💖🌞🌵😷

Thank you so much for the free shipping! I missed out on most of the emporium offerings, but I enjoy jigsaw puzzles and absolutely loved the first one. When I went to order the current one when it was new, the shipping was too much for me to justify. (I’m in the US and completely understand it’s expensive to ship overseas).
