I listened to this album during my trip to a concussion clinic in Provo, UT (from Portland, OR) in September of 2020 on the heels of a head injury. At the time, the sky was orange due to historic forest fires in the Northwest -- I remember seeing the smoke plumes upon takeoff and feeling like the end was inching closer. I'd be lying if I said that Slow Correction didn't exacerbate the hurt. This album was my companion before and after that trip, as well as my recovery. These songs exude compassion and stillness, and it'd be impossible to overstate their significance in my life. Thank you
