The fact that skate is the least rated song really says something about the album as a whole.

This album was amazing! I feel like this is our generations old school, our parents got the “real thing” but this album is so good at giving that feel that oldies have. My top 3 are:

One of the best albums of the year
The synergy between Anderson and Bruno. The funny lines and the intervention of Boosty Collins. Even if it’s kinda piggybacking and extremely inspired by 70’s soul, it does it very well and doesn’t feel like it’s just copying off it. Very cheery and didn’t overstay its welcome like all bruno albums. And it gets its music from using mainly percussion instruments which is quite cool if you listen closely

Top 3 rn are probably Fly As Me, Put on a Smile, and honestly I can't even choose between Skate and After Last Night. Like what the fuck. And that's not even mentioning Smokin Out the Window and Leave the Door Open. Or Blast Off. Like what the fuck is this album, how can it just be so perfect...

9/9. Not a single skip even my least fav song on this project I know some of the words to. I thought leave the door open was one of the best songs I've ever heard but it's like my 3rd or 4th fav song on this album.
They waited so they could be grammy considered. I think bruno wanted to give anderson a life changing experiences from the album to awards

Such a great 70’s disco, funk, soul, r&b realness. Bootsy is a music legend glad a whole new ass generation is about to learn about him. Modern musics current trend is low energy, vibe music (which is fine)- but this is up tempo feel good dance music ♥️ it’s fun
I absolutely love this album. This is one of my favorite albums in my lifetime of listening to music(I’m 19). We don’t get music like this, EVER. I hope we get more of this from Silk Sonic in the future. Truly beautiful and powerful.

Looking back at this video, thinking of the marketing, it makes silk sonic feel like something that has been around forever, with the sound, name and everything
They have to keep us on our toes. It worked. I saw an interview last night. The guy interviewing them mentioned the length of the album. Bruno' said that when albums are made the idea is to draw fans in quick and hard. If there is song after after song some may lose interest. There is a method he follows and it works. We are lucky for their collaboration. Much luck and love to all💕
Really liked the breakdown at the end of the video. Definitely am proud to support you guys. Album is dope and even songs I didn’t like grew on me. Every time I hear it something else catches my attention.

As an old school brother and a musician all I have to say to this generation live music being played on this album not computer’s programming and writing in notes real playing instruments!
Mannn I love Skate! It makes me happy and want to move likeee put some respect haha. I just bought this album on vinyl and I don't even have a record player lol.
Also, I watched an interview with them which made me understand the album a whole lot more. Since they made it during covid, they wanted the album to feel and sound like we're actually AT a live show. I love the concept of the album and am fine with the 9 (plus love's train) tracks. They really delivered and there are NO skips.

Skate is a very good, it's one of my favourite tracks.
I feel reason why they didn’t drop the album earlier was because they were hoping that the pandemic will be over and they can tour so you guys got to take that into consideration they trying to time in reopening of the entertainment scene.
