Hagz500R The changes in emission laws dictate the way bikes are being designed and built these days, the manufacturers can't do anything about it, it sucks but we can still ride these bikes instead long live 250 4cylinder bikes!
Grande Mota....parabens... tens um exemplar magnifico... Tambem gostaria te comprar um "F1" como esse.. por acaso sabes algum sitio ou alguem que venda ? abraço
Yes, it's a completely different league. Our Honda CBR 250RR made almost 44 rear wheel horsepower @ dyno ( check out the video on our Honda CBR 250RR Playlist )
This is one of the most beautifully built 250 bikes ever.... It still looks and sounds nicer then eney piece of crap built today. They really did know how to make a bike come alive. Really sad it's not like this eneymore
We still use this CBR 250RR on daily commute ( already 79 000 km ), came from a night ride to test GPS Data Logger and the speedo instruments error is very small.
google "Young Machine 250RR scoop". They have been leaking all of Hondas and Yamahas models even before the companies announced them successfully. Theres a new inline 4 250RR coming
@1980aankrah 1st - On supermoto you can corner with knee or with feet out. 2nd - I don't have a " Supersports ", this is a 20 year old 250 4-Stroke bike .. even if it makes 20 000rpm, it still has ~45 hp for +150kg .. the supermotos of the movie have all above 50 hp for around 110 - 130kg ( except for the KTM SM 990 )
It is just awesome that it can reach 20000 rpm. In the 60's race bikes ftom honda yamaha suzuki reached also 22000 rpm. Honda has had torsion bars instead of valve springs. Because the valves openend and closed11000 times per minute. Unbelievable
Depends where you live. California and New York I know for sure you'll never get it titled legally. But states like Indiana that don't care about emissions at all may not be to much of a problem. I believe a few have been imported to the states, and there are supposed to importers up in Canada that bring them in and then you can bring it in to the US on your own.
@BroLyPB I'm guessing one could bore it to a 280, port, adjust lift and duration, add compression, switch to EFI, and expect those numbers to rise. Maybe 80 RWHp? And one can always strip it down and add as much carbon as possible. New wheels, forks, shock... Hmm, I'd totally remove the front cowling and leave it like a naked bike
hello guys, my god what a bike!!!! i'm from Belgium and i didn't know this model....your videos are very good...and your aprilia rs 250....i'm in love with it....but in Belgium there's no very good 2t specialist... Big up from Belgium
@BroLyPB It is still a CRAZY amount of horsepower for a 250 even if it is 20 years old. I still wish the 4 japanese motorcycle makers where still in a power race, but it is still much more forgiving on the newer riders with less horsepower.
If you're talking about the new Ninja, it will never make this sound. I own this CBR and let me tell you this, it is one of the best bikes for handling that I've ever owned. Since it's a sportsbike you will be sore on long journeys because you are constantly hunched over. I know a few people who used to own the 250rr but now have moved onto bigger bikes and even they said themselves that if they could they would swap their current bikes for the CBR 250rr.
Do you actually recommend this bike? over say a ninja 250? Im just wondering how it compares when it comes to comfort and overall, not for racing as such. I just love the high sound that the ninja lacks
I have an '89 CBR250R and it's fucking sick for a little 250! Sounds just like this vid! I have 2 kids which will both get their licence on it. Will be damn near a classic by then.. For you overseas who never had this bike as an option.....get em while you can because they are slowly diminishing in numbers....:(
@AreS21051 It's very fast for a 250 4-Stroke with 20 years old. 43 rwhp @ dyno, makes +190 km/h @ instruments. I have another nice bikes, such as modded Aprilia RS 250, 4-Stroke supermotos ( KTM 520 & Husaberg 650 ) and this CBR isn't much slower than most of them .. ( with me riding it, 66 kg, which makes difference for acceleration because of the power/weight ratio )
so these older 4 cyls. but be much faster than the newer one cylinders due to the higher rpm's i take it? theres no way new cbr250's accelerate anywhere near these RR's.
Damn i want this bike....my cbr is mc41- single cylinder and it sounds like shit.... well....yours is mc22-4 cylinder and it sounds damn smooth....and less vibration too... my hands often get numb when i was riding my mc41-single cylinder....

They may be faster than you, but at least you sound better than them!
Why did they stop this bike? Its the best sound EVER
Thinking of dropping this engine in my YZF R125 frame with some modding of course!
YZF R250 sound like a hoot!
@@Termi-Motovlogs did you still do that . that woulkd look amazing
Termi hey man did you do it? I wanna know what its like
Honda made a big mistake by killing this bike and replacing it with a lawnmower 1cyl.
Here's the new CBR300R, and here's the pull cord to start the engine hahahaha
davidrobert2007
And here is the new CBR125, it's just like the CG125 but the tyres are thinner
Hagz500R The changes in emission laws dictate the way bikes are being designed and built these days, the manufacturers can't do anything about it, it sucks but we can still ride these bikes instead long live 250 4cylinder bikes!
yesverybizarre aayiknow bikes consume way lesser fuel than cars... laws shouldn't be such a dick

mc22 eats 20km/L
economy car eats 30km/L
one carries 2 other carries 4
hell I bet new kawa zx25r will eats 25km/L
This bike teaches you to conserve momentum. I bet the rider has mastered that skill!
...and it redlines higher, close to an F1 engine redline. beautiful
I want this bike, little, amazing motor and god that sound
this is incredible, eargasm!
@theH1TMAN47 Stock headers, only the final pipe is a Yoshimura R-55
Sounds amazing! my RR is currently on its way to North America, might have to do this when it gets here!

Yes. It's a 4-Stroke 250 4 inline cylinder.

nice sound for a 250! I heard that the new cbr 250r does not sound like this anymore, its now a single cylinder...
Haha so cute :') You get overtaken by everything but have no reason to care as sound is all that matters :D

@BroLyPB
Your 1st point - Cornering with feet out at those speeds are useless.
Your 2nd part - Fair Point.
I would keep a bike like this forever. We'll never ever have an engine like that! Nonsense but fun fun fun!!!!
Thanks guys I didn't know this im totally impressed thank you for letting me know this

you are lucky man who got this 250rr , i have to satisfy myself with cbr 250r or cbf 125

Oh the sound!! It's brilliant!!!

高昂地引擎咆哮聲龜速移動有點好笑
雖說不快極速也有180km/hr
有朝一日我要去日本買一台當收藏品
Ahh love that sound..!!
Amazing, what a beast!

Ainda esta a venda a mota?
Não
Já foi vendida em 2015
RacingSM muita pena...
Obrigado na mesma

increible!
What makes you say that. He only mentions cc
also supermotos pull harder due to more than double the torque
best 250cc ever

They either stopped making it due to sound emissions or due to carbon dioxide regulations .
Классно гоняете..............
I want to ride this bike
how do you make that sound?
