- Oh my heart just made a little jump when I saw the little encounter between Mintha (47 years old) and baby Kiango (3months old). And for a second we could even see Kiango is starting to crawl. Happy to also see silverback Bao Bao eating and loving lunch again. I hope you'll enjoy the video!

Kiango’s devilish hair tufts are too cute ! What an adorable gorilla baby. Mintha expresses her curiosity about the baby but also keeps a respectful distance. I love how gorillas seem to honour protective moms wishes and keep their distance although curious about baby. They are such lovely perceptive and intuitive beings.
Glad to see BaoBao out enjoying the sun looking healthy.

Kiango is adorable. Mama is so protective!! I loved seeing these precious gorillas sitting in the sunshine . It is always so wonderful to see them surrounded by grass and trees !! BaoBao looks very content, enjoying a bite to eat .🦍💙💗

So cute! ♥️ I’m not too familiar with this group. Was Bao Bao sick recently and unable to eat?
I gave an update last week in the first video of them. Last year they found out he has a heart condition he was stressed and not eating well. And now he gets medicine and they've put the young gorilla's (pubers/teenagers) on another island so he's got more peace and quiet.
