God of War's team didn't seem willing to work with him. Even seemed like Bragme's heart wasn't in the game, I almost thought he was trolling against his own guys. A lot of timings missed which would've helped them gain some ground. Not sure if they were communicating much, if at all, or trying solely based on eye power and guesswork.
After a year I finally know how to capture that Oil derrick: + Make a naval yard in that pond + Produce an MCV out of that naval yard + Unpack the MCV in the pond + Sell that Construction Yard in the pond + You get an engineer in the pond + Capture the Oil derrick of the pond

ra3 is a massive micro game, the other red alert installations are definitely more macro based with intensive standoffs between massive armies. By introducing support powers and secondary abiltiies ra3 made the game extremely micro-intensive, that + the 1 collector per refinery rule
Hot Conflict, Snowtop Conqueror, Infinite Barbeque, Pool March and Besieged Reservoir are 5 pvp-oriented maps from the Chinese RA3 community. They are widely used in 3v3 tournaments alongside Magmageddon in Chinese RA3 community since 2017.
@Flexinciple Straight of Gibraltar, Dual Duel vs Kane, and Taw Cornerstone. For the last one I'm not sure it's the one I'm thinking about. But it's the best one imho. I can't check, cuz I got RA3 uninstalled. But it's easy to find and download. It's 2 islands to the left and right, and water with some islands and stuff between them. Exactly how you described. The other 2 are decent as well.
Athena cannons are also pretty bull. With how their shield can block cryoshot and artillery, while their attack is accurate and pretty fast. WFA is amazing as well, but it is hard to use effectively since youll have to use the premature fire ability at the exact right moment. Too early and you just waste time, too late and you overkill someone. And if you ever move before hitting the prefire you waste all the charge you had.
I think it was more the cryocopters stopping them form forming any rigid lines of defence that allowed the artillery to easily pick them off from range
I used to run a pretty sweet set up back in the day using the athenas bubble shield, to protect two other upgraded athenas with a guardian tank in each bubble with the laser targetting ability to increase damage, often force firing other athenas positioned in the bubble on to choke points forcing enemies to either walk through the constant wall of laser or waste time dropping the athena shields to get to the units inside. Hold your comments, that wasnt the strat. While your opponents occupied with this, basically glorified base defence, you take a tanya, load it in an ifv, get it near your opponents base and shrink it, then you blast the benny hill theme tune down your headset as you run that ifv pell mell into your enemies back lines, being so small and fast essentially avoiding 90% of anything that fires on you and deploy that tanya, and hit the win button!
I think the only way to go down and get the middle oil is to be allies, chronosphere some riptide into the water then use the ability which makes you swap units with an engineer, or if you have rising sun tech u can use tengus
@@OneSybert Never knew that if you sell an MCV in water it still gives an engineer, I guess that's another way to do it. If you are allies and have rising mecha bay (or steal a Tengu with a spy) you can land the Tengu right by the oil and then use the chrono swap with an engineer, a seawing would work too.
I would like to, because then I would have casted every C&C game, but I have no connections to TS community and I haven't investigated getting it running/recording on my computer.
Anybody know how the cryos were individually using their F ability at 9:43? they seemed to be paused right before the command was issued, meaning it was done nearly instantly. does he just have them in 3 different control groups, and then "1,f,click", "2,f,click", etc? I've seen the method of selecting a whole group, f>click onto enemy, then deselecting one (via mouse on icon), then f>click onto next, but that method only seems to work when you are far enough away to give time for the cryos to fly over... Am I missing some kind of micro shortcut?
When you have a group of units of selected you can highlight just one to use an ability and use tab to cycle to the next unit. So the commands would be: F tab F tab F
@@OneSybert Does this only apply to multiplayer/online? I tried it out (offline, skirmish vs ai) and it didn't seem to work. Tab just does nothing when I have a group selected..

I mean, if you try to pull your own þing þrough, þen þe opponent could just use you as you are a weakpoint in potential defences/charges. It's an utter team game-oriented plateau wìþ little room to pivot. I do wonder þough, how an FFA would play out here.......

You can paradrop from centuries over water as long as the amphibious units get loaded in first (First in first out) If I recall correctly

How do Tengus help? Someone else suggested chronosphere an MCV down there and sell it off to get the engi.
