Nice! I did notice some of these things have been changed. For instance, quest in town are now marked with a big orange ! instead of the box above a NPC's head. You mentioned emotes but didn't really say how to use them by pressing keys 1 2 3 or 4. And my tip is to place gas tanks between long fields in a position that your tractor will run over the tongue when in auto mode. This allows the tractor to auto gas while auto harvesting.
Yes, the team is releasing patches daily, so it's tough to keep up with the changes. 😊 The emotes can be used with the D-pad on controller (not sure on keyboard), but I think there are only like 5 emotes total currently. Great tip about the fuel tank, never knew the tongue auto-fueled!!

It's easy to miss as a beginner. You can put your inventory on your screen if that helps; I just get in the habit of pressing my inventory button often and watching out for the yellow "FULL" text when harvesting. :)
lets start a farm by looking adorable? stupid stupid stupid.. if you make a farm you make it to unlock everything in 1-4 weeks (depends on the time you have) and earn millions in no time even on the hard level.. u can check my farm i made a short video.. i harvest all fish with only 1 farmhand in 1 spot.. if i need decoration i would play the sims XD
Hmm, that must be a mobile game like HayDay, right? I'm not familiar with it, but this is a very addicting little farming game. It's fun to join random farms and help strangers and creatively design and improve your own. I'm sorry I underestimated the first Farm Together and never played it.
Technically the difference between FT1 and FT2 is the original forced you off of your tractor to fish in small groups of 12. Now you fish the whole pond in one go and don't have to recall your tractor afterwards.

Gained form in-house crafting : 2 stoves, a piano and an easel in each house (quite a few were available, and you could build all of them on one farm). -The townies boxes appear to have changed to '!' symbol and shopkeepers have a little more currency available. Not much but less frustrating -I moved my fish stall to the seafront as it made more sense to me -I don't like the auto tractor as it's so slow - but that's just personal -FT1 had an option to have the inventory perma-displayed in a band at the bottom of the screen, but there are about a third more items now so it would be bigger -A small change. The tractor used to water the 9 squares around, whether it was needed or not, so wasted a third of its fuel - unless you laid it out in 9s and 6s (using edges and terrain) - now it just waters the dry crops. But it still does it on the flowers -A fully watered crop takes only half the time to grow - sprinklers were are godsend. A few crops took 48 hours, and my favourite moneymaker sunflowers went from 8 to 4 hours. I could grow 3 lots a day, making 1500 profit for each one. They only cost 1 medal and watered the 2 squares on either side. These are 2 ribbons each. Not quite there yet but maybe they are on corners instead. I will know soon and edit this! -Yes farm expansions cost more for each one. I just opened number 4 for 800. So far it's been 200/400/600/800 -Crops are worth more the higher their level. The lettuce you pointed out made 36, but it was 35 to start with. So growing stuff you don't need is doubly beneficial. Not only useful ahead of time but worth more when you really want them I think I'll stop there, go check on my house 😁 So - finished the house, mad 2 stoves and an easel (piano needs level 25) and no tickets. Just looks like more products - but who knows whether they sell or are used.

@@BuckeyeBunny It's certainly an incentive, but it was such a joy to visit other's farms it didn't always register that I'd benefitted from it. And the length of time the boost lasted went up with your level. You had to spend longer earning it but I was getting an hour or more of double crops. Another small change is the 4 stage crop harvest. FT1 you'd select your new crop then harvest/plow/plant and then go back over the ground to water after planting all your crop. Now it's harvest/plow/plant/water and move on. Liking that 😁 Got to go study now
And, very excited, the sprinklers cover the whole 9 block. Much better value than FT1. 9 squares would have been 4 1/2 medals, now just 2 for the same 😁
@@Ethrianor I just bought my first last night...just wish medals were easier to get. I visited a level 64 farm last night, and they probably had a hundred sprinklers, it was crazy. :)
@@BuckeyeBunny FT1 had 4 regular jobs (starting at just 1), getting increasingly more valuable, but you could also buy (for 20 medals) a jobs booth - where you could pick up to 3 more jobs for 1 medal each. You could choose very short, short, medium or long with smaller or larger amounts to harvest (which is where I got that 800 turnips and 650 cabbages job. Yes I had more than enough room!) The very short may only have got a 1 or 2 medal return, so no real gains, but a whole bunch of xp.
17 tips? i bet you play on easy, the best tip is don't play on easy so everything will be more easy to build up.. you start slow yes, but if you are not about dumb decoration and spend all your money on animals and flowers then it will be very easy.. you want dumb decoration then maybe best to play on easy

I only see several types of pigs and chickens so far, but I would imagine more will be added since it's early access, or perhaps they will be DLCs.

I'm not aware of any "easy" mode. I just play the game as intended, with no mods or extra buffs. And I do like the "dumb decorations" you mentioned.
