The problem with all of this is that somehow Christine thought by marrying Cody, who she was in love with, would mean she would have him all to herself. It doesn't work like that. From the very beginning of the show she was jealous and had a lot of anger. She should not of entered into this kind of relationship. I think, for him, he really married her out of obligation. I don't think he ever loved her. In his religion, you must have three wives or more to get into the celestial kingdom. He is not legally married to her, nor is she to him. She would easily stay with him if he discarded all the other wives. Maybe not so much now. He has admitted on TV that he doesn't like Meri or Christine. He only loves Robyn and probably has a bond with Janelle. I have no clue why Meri stays, she is always crying. He is a very weird and strange even for a polygamist husband. He doesn't listen to anything that she says and just goes on the attack. She is way better off without him and she needs to be in a one on one relationship.

Cody does not see Christine as an individual. He did not see a direct correlation between the way he treats Robyn and and his other wives.
