Very nice woody station wagon and the jeep. The station wagon was a common sight in the 40's and, unfortunately, the jeep with the machine gun greeting me as I left for work one morning during the riots as part of the Rodney King incident in California. Like also the RMT tankers. Nice detail. You certainly took the tour of the train stores. Thanks.
I always loved the look of those old woodies. Those riots were unhinged. I can’t imaging leaving my house and seeing a jeep with a big gun on it. Any time I can stop at a train store!
Very nice. It is always enjoyable to go to train stores and hobby shops. There aren't too many left in my area in Ohio, but I do like stopping by Nicholas Smith and others when I'm out east visiting family in Philly and Atlantic City. To me, the standard-sized O gauge cars are the best. They fit nicely on most layouts and help make a smaller or mid-sized layout look bigger. An excellent video, as always.
What a Way to spend the weekend! I’ve been to the B&O museum a few times over the past few years. The start of the exhibit IMO has to be the 490. Nice New additions once again Dave. I’m a huge standard O fanatic
Some nice finds Dave! Like yourself I never pass up an opportunity for a train shop visit if there's one in the area I happen to find myself in. It looks like that wedding put you in the right place! Oh, don't worry about missing the B&O Museum, they're not going anywhere. I'll tell you something though, the place is fantastic and shouldn't be missed if you're back that way again. Thanks for posting!
You should have gone into the Crackerberry Farm Antique Mall in Paradise (just down the road from the Amtrak/Strasburg connection). It's a gold mine of Postwar and MPC Lionel.
What a great hall for your collection seem like it never does stop I'm always looking. Also Dave do you have the shirts in 3 and 4x let me know I like to buy about three or four and thanks for the videos you really give me good information when building my track
Hey Dave, nice video as usual. I'm heading up to Strasburg this weekend with the grandkids and will visit both the Choo Choo Barn and the TCA Toy Train Museum with a lunch break at Casey Jones. Great train stores and great boxcars !
Like the woody station wagon and jeep. Nice addition to your layout. There is always room for cars like that. JH
Thanks. Always room for more!! But roads would help!
Wow what a great shopapolooza fun video always wanted to stay at the caboose motel
It was a good time!
I haven’t stayed there in a few years but yeah, it’s a neat place to stay

Thanks. I agree on size. A huge modern scale sized car is going to look huge on any but the largest layout.
Dave picked up this one single dude....😂😂😂
Hey I felt bad, all alone in that bag…
Seemed like a weekend that was well lived, some nice pieces there, loved the tank cars, plus a peek at the first cut scenery for the extension?
It was. Oh you saw that, yup trying to mock up and that bit of foam was in the way. I’m not quite ready to chop the whole side off yet
Cool haul you got!
Thanks!
