On the new 2024 Mobi Lodge I had with me, the gas cylinder was installed on the A-frame of the caravan, exposed to the elements.
I removed the battery charger, electronics and wiring, cleaned up the cabinet, painted it black (for future racks to be installed) and re-routed the gas pipes neatly into cabinet through the floor.
*It should be noted that legislation of each territory need to be consulted, and that this change does not necessarily reflect any legal installations, as the main objective was to improve positioning of the gas cylinder. please consult the proper legal installation regulations for gas installations.
