Hi Tomaka...sorry to hear that...I suppose anything may have a bad one produced occasionally....I can only say mine is still working fine (just drinking a brew made with it now) after literally hundreds of uses
@@TomsManShed they bought it in Lidl as well and it turns out the model on the package and in the manual is completely different than the kettle itself so they will try to get it replaced
Got one of these kettles a couple of months ago, the colour change is handy if you have a small washup bowl and want 50C heated water to clean something up. Also agree it takes 5 seconds longer than my old one to shut off. Did you get the Deluxe Wine offer? Saved me loads off at Christmas, 30% off decent wines made them cheaper than the standard ones! A great saving app for me, and my Lidl has EV charging too.
Yes good point re the temp...plus it looks good too ....re the wine. No I don't drink wine...I only like beer/Guinness and some spirits. I have a cupboard full of wine as I go to 3 pub quizzes each week and its often the 2nd prize.....we win a lot of times but also get the wine for 2nd place....no charging at my Lidl but I only need home charging anyway....good to have it there though ...I dare say one day they will.
yes it was shortly after descaling my old one that that too broke making me get this.....i wont be descaling this as it obviously is not good for this type of kettle
Hi Steven....yes well spotted ..I have had it just a few weeks but am loving it....It may interest you that I am in the process of doing a video on the making of a filament spool rewinder for the AMS .....as with most of my vids it's very long as it goes into every detail so is in 2 long parts....just adding the final touches to part 2 and will be uploading both parts within a week
Definitely interested! I’ve got a couple of P1S’s (it’s cheaper cousin) and love them, although I do get occasional issues with the AMS feeders from time to time that drive me mad! The recent firmware update with the sound cancelling tweak was pretty amazing too…
It's dangerous when you pour from it because the water spout isn't great as the water trickles down kettle onto floor so if your in socks or bare feet you'll get scalded
That's strange because mine doesn't do that at all ...it pours perfectly without dripping. I pour it with the cup on the worktop so any drips wouldn't touch me anyway but like I say it pours without dripping. Have you checked the filter is properly in place and not blocked?

I broke my kettle descaling it, well after descaling it, it now trips the breaker so i need a new one now
