One of my favorite comedians is Tom Segura and on his podcast he was talking about how much better it was to make a black person laugh and how much better it felt to get a compliment from a black person. The first black girl I met was in 7th grade and my first day of school and she cracked me up with how open she was and how much she was amazed by her first “white boy”.
