Hello dear friends, hope you enjoyed the replays. I've been meaning to record some replays showcasing the etude quick-synchro method for a while, but couldn't get to it due to work. The fact that borrelend revives tracer and tracer in itself represents 2 bodies (including a tuner) is a perfect fit for the etude trap. Overall the latest banlist had an annoying consequence on my preferred engine - shadow's light. Normally you would use it to summon seyfert, who in turn searches baby chaos dragons, but since the light one got banned, there is little reason to run the entire package. The deck is still fine, but you're limited in which engines you can use, and the shadow's light was the most card-advantage oriented engine (although not the most consistent lol). On a side note - if you want to make it a 40 list, you can definitely cut "mind crush", because I ran it for fun. You can replace a lot of cards in main and extra decks. 3:56 Rokket Recharger cannot be targeted for attacks while you control DARK extradeck monster, denying zeus access 8:20 You can tribute (normal)-summon over hieratic spheres to trigger summon from deck - it doesn't have to be tributed by its own effect 10:53 I've chained tracer's summon effect to my Sheou negate to make sure that I am locked into DARK monsters. What does this achieve? I still negate my opponent's Effect, but I am not forced to summon my lvl9 Dragonmaid (which is LIGHT attribute) to the field (I keep her in ED for follow-up plays, because I only run 1 copy). 11:01 In preparation for Void Ogre Dragon, you must immediately empty your hand before triggering etude effect, otherwise your Spell/Trap negate will not be live on resolution. Banishing Borrelend gives a good revival target for Dis Pater, but I didn't end up summoning him in that game. Would I recommend etude for competitive use? No, lol, but its funny to mess around with it. Maybe if they release more support - it will be viable competitively. As a fellow DLink enjoyer, I have a similar 44c list but running a heavier Rokket package. I added Assault Synchron together with Etude to Synchro into Archfiend Abyss which can the next turn Synchro into Baronne if you have Borrelend on the field as well. Still trying to find the optimal way, but the fact that we can’t fit many handtraps without hurting consistency really sucks. Idc about Chaos Ruler, just give us the babies at 1 like the TCG. Anyways, nice list! Looking forward to more DLink vids 😁
Im using jack in the hand to search BMD by revealing kurikara, BMD, and i forgot the 3rd, but enemies mostly pick kurikara to break my board, ended up i kali yuga lock em

Was going to ask exactly that on VW replay, didn't knew about Recharger on field effect In fact you can still use your effects on 11:05, no need to empty hand first, so long as you keep priority for quick effects (Wurm, Maid trap) And you got very lucky opponent was a stingy one, so no Evolzar on 15:10 I love your creativity as the "engine" of maid is still kicking, but hate the result thou; didn't knew Etude was basically a Macro cosmos vs combo decks, and hey, Void dragon cause there's never enough negates Keep cooking chef; may you have a fantastic day so ideas keep flowing, but in-game may opponent throws Sphere mode, or Evenly on top of Dark ruler as much as possible

Well we can see that the deck is losing it's power after the ruler is banned.
Loss of white chaos baby dragon is much worse. Chaos ruler didn't matter that much
