Urte barri on! Eskerrik asko zure bideoengatik :D Here is one idea for this year: interview some other Basque descendents or their parents (those who migrated to the US) and let them tell us about their experience as an immigrant. What made them to move to the US, what were their first jobs... etc. Just an idea! Enjoy the holidays ;)
Urte Berri On Anne-Marie😊. Your dad is a wise person and he is blessed with a daughter like you💫. Your birth family is an inspiration to me and many others I am sure. Keep the enthusiasm going for now and to the future🌈.
Please keep teaching us Basque!! Love it! Love your family too!!❤️❤️😘😘 Your Aita seems like he is getting much more comfortable in front of the camera. Whatever he can contribute in terms of screen time is really really appreciated. 😎 Very Happy New Year 2021 too. Bonne Année!!🎈🎊 ❤️❤️

verry nice and intereseting 👌 I have subscribed to your wonderful channel, I want to see in the future more important and good content too, much success
Amerikako euskal etxeak erakutsi al dituzu. Basikamente zure inguruko euskal komunitateak pixkat ezagutarazteko. Neri gutxienez interesatuko litzaidake. Urteberrion Uxanuritik.
I would love to do more of that! Sadly many of the euskal etxeak have cancelled their activities, but hopefully as the situation improves there will be more to share.
Urte berri on A-M! Have you thought about trying to work with a barnetegi to get a student visa? I have an acquaintance who was able to get one though an euskaltegi, so that might be a possibility! And my vote is for more euskara learning related videos 😉 ondo pasa!!
Ahh what a great suggestion! Visas are not my issue. It's more my discomfort in moving to another country to jump into a communal living situation where I have a lot less control over my social bubble during a global pandemic. Yes, I could get an apartment and do the euskaltegi thing, but I think the barnetegi experience would be a much cheaper and faster way to learn Euskara. I would rather wait till this all blows over. In the meantime, Goenkale every day! haha
Unfortunately there aren't very many and they're all temporarily closed because of lockdown right now. But in normal times, I recommend Piperade in the Financial District and the Basque Cultural Center in South San Francisco. Chalet Basque in San Rafael might still be open for takeout too.
Hi! I discover your channel just right now. I'm from the Basque country so yeah I know Spanish and Euskera, and a little bit English lol, but why do you want to learn it? What is your reason or motivation to learn this language? I'm just curious cause we (most of the people) don't even use it, only a few people and is ridiculous.. That pissed me off all my life. I'm 21 and since I ended high school I've never used it again. Only to say "Agur" or "Zorionak", simple words like these.. Edit: Oh, now I finished the video and it seems like you've been here before, now makes more sense and maybe your father is from here?
Hey, thanks for your question! I made a whole video explaining why I'm learning Basque that goes into more detail than I can here in a TH-cam comment: th-cam.com/video/fw4pcLTUaK4/w-d-xo.html

@@HellaBasque oh thank you. Yes, hopefully when things get better, I can visit one or all of these!
Aita has been featured on TH-cam for eight years?! Onto what other channels have you uploaded footage of him?
I started with a blog and social media channels :) The TH-cam channel is only two years old
Hello Anne-Marie. Will the barnetegi teach you Basque through English or is it completely immersive?
Complete immersion! No other languages used :D
How about you do a video where you speak entirely in Basque? (If you haven't already.)
