apollo if you're wondering why they were sometimes focusing of fuel points its because you need that for tank production. making it, arguably, the most impotant resource. The in-game chat can be fun but they really do need an option to turn that off, as well as the ping function, as some people do abuse it which can get extremely frustrating. something i hope they take note of for iorn harvest.
54:13 They retreated. because they were pinned. Pinned units cannot capture any points and can only retreat. Also the brits were dropping smoke on their tanks because thats the part of their commander repair ability. It drops smoke on a tank as it repairs itself.
Great video apollo! Could you minimize the camera rotation? It's a little disorienting and makes it tough to track unit movements. Love the COH content.
i wish the game had more factions... i mean add france , italy and japan with they own power! , like japanese infantry have katanas and can rush into the enemys and kill them faster than shooting... it would be awesome , anyway hope can see more of this game i hope :) thank ya!
I'm only 41 minutes in, but what surprises me is that the British didn't build forward positions. That could've been really helpful as it can serve as a retreat and reinforcement point.
The forward position was build by the British player during mid game. You'll see the building if you watch the game play through (42-43 minutes in game). Anyways, I do agree about it importance and thanks for the feedback.
@@cassius7101 I noticed it later in the vid. ;) So he did well. I tend to turtle up with the British a lot. So much that I ended a 1v1 in a massive stalemate with either player unable to break the others line. Hence why I was looking out for it.
I’m loving this series but this game is still so expensive for a 2013 game especially if you add the DLC. I’ve never paid more than $25 for a game and I own the entire Total War series (minus 3K). If you ever get a decent discount code for this Apollo I’ll buy it just to support you but For now I’ll just stick to watching.
the game looks so fun but too bad theres so many negtive things about it. Like the fact that it's basically pay to win for one thing. I'd love to play this game if only the devs weren't so greedy.
Love your casting, super love COH2. But tbh I don't really enjoy the "cinematic" view, I'd rather have you cast the game in the standar view from above. Just my opinion.
Hey Appolo, I have a bit of suggestion mate to maybe improve your commentary quality: 1. Try to mention the players commander/doctrine of choice, it maybe can be also help you about the game and what to expect. 2. Usually I saw other commentators close or put something on top the replay timers (the one on bottom middle one with taskbar thingy) after editing so the viewers not "spoiled" that the game time. Imagine everything is destroyed and we already expect the game to end but, guess what a come back another 10 minutes come back fights. Hope it helps man, cheers. i enjoy your commentary so much
It kinda bothers me when people play matches in eastern front maps with Americans fighting along side Russians, I don't know it kinda annoys me a little bit

You must play Wargame Red Dragon! You'll love it. It's a really steep learning curve though but it's so worth it
