Earlier you split out the eyes, teeth and claw geometry. Now you are going to pack this geometry then assign each part to a joint using the capture packed geometry node. This is the equivalent of parenting each object to the skeleton since parenting isn’t an option at the geometry level when using KineFX.
This lesson series is outdated and has been replaced with a new version updated for 19.5.
Well... This serie is definitively not a tut' for beginners in rigging inside Houdini... some nodes are added, no explanations on why and what they do... Anyway, it still remains useful ! thx
there are a lot of explanations regarding each node used in the project... probably you just need to start this series from the 1st part. cheers.
