There were 47 teams, 12 themed floats, and about 3,500 performers participating in the performance of Dai calendar 1386 New Year's Festival. Show the charm of multiple ethnic groups and cultures during the parade.

I am from Myanmar, live in USA, Yunnan and my country are close neighbors. I found out that most of the traditional costumes are very similarity with ours. So much love to see them and really miss my home town because I love to wear my traditional clothes.Thank you much for sharing!

Lots of love from Assam , India. I'm from Tai Ahom tribe. Our ancestors came from Mong Mao [present day Yunnan, China] in 1228 along with Chaolung Sukapha. And there r many Tai tribes here in Assam & Arunachal Pradesh like Tai Phake , Tai Khamti , Tai Aiton , Tai Khamyang , etc.

Very beautiful and colorful arrangement. I am impressed. We Rakhines also celebrate this kind of new year festival called sangreng in Bangladesh. I am surprised to know that the Dai Calendar and our Rakhine Calendar are exactly the same ie 1386.

My wife and I were enjoying the beautiful and magnificent parade on You-Tube of the 2024 Songkran Parade, Xishuangbanna, Yunnan, China, when suddenly the shitty Shen Yun advertisement appeared. This mediocre group of dancers and musicians are from Hong Kong, renegades from China, living in New York making propaganda for the United States government. They are a real disgrace as an expression of art.

Dân siêm thái di cư từ miền nam Trung quốc về vùng đất cổ của người Môn-Khmer, và hấp thụ lấy luôn trang phục, văn hoá, điệu múa, nghệ thuật của dân Khmer cổ. Sau này dân Khmer suy yếu rồi thì Thái lươn mới phát triển hơn Campuchia nhiều hiện tại. Bọn này nó hai mặt, chỗ nào mạnh thì dựa hơi chỗ đó, nên khi nó giàu rồi thì ra sức bôi bác, miệt thị dân Khmer, vốn mà chúng nó từng tôn sùng văn hoá và ăn cắp kiểu cách ăn mặc, trang phục, phong cách kiens trúc...
Bạn nhìn xem một bộ phận dân siêm tai di cư ra vùng Tây Bắc Việt Nam đó, không được thừa hưởng văn hoá Khmer và Môn cổ nên hoàn toàn không giống Campuchia.

ขบวนทำได้ดี ยิ่งใหญ่และสวยงามมั๊กมั๊ก ประชากรชาวเชื้อสายไท มีมากจริงงๆ และอยู่ทั่วไปหมดเลยตั้งแต่ทางตอนใต้ของจีนยูนาน กินพื้นที่ไปถึงรัฐฉานทั้งหมดที่อยู่ในเขตพม่าคือไทยใหญ่ รวมลาวทั้งประเทศนี่ก็เชื้อสายเดียวกันกับพวกเรา ไทยดำในเวียดนามที่อยู่ตอนเหนือของเเวียดนาม ที่ส่วนใหญ่เราลืมนึกถึงไปหรือเปล่า (ในแบบเรียนเราไม่ค่อยได้กล่าวถึงเท่าไหร่ มีแต่เพลงไทยดำรำพันที่ทำให้เราจำได้ว่ายังมีพวกเค้าอยู่ด้วยนะ) ต่อมาก็ไทยอาหรมที่อพพยพเข้าไปอยู่ทางตอนตะวันออกของอินเดีย (ดินแดนเค้าติดกับพม่าเลย)รัฐที่พวกไทยอาหรมอยู่เรียกว่ามิโซลัม( เป็นดินแดนที่อินเดียให้ปกครองตนเอง) เหล่านี้คือ เชื้อสายเดียวกันกับพวกเราทั้งนั้น ยกเว้นแคลมโบเดียเท่านั้นที่คนละเผ่าพันพันธุ์กับพวกเราโดยสิ้นเชิง
