What an arrogant prick that girl is....is that how you interview a well respected person, who has done a lot more to the society than herself. We very rarely have an intellectual point of view from the right or conservative, which leads left to believe in full of bigotry, anti-logic, anti-science image. But Jerry breaks that. Although, I don't agree with him because of my personal bias, after listening to him on Seen and the unseen podcast I now at least feel that conservatives are not always full of bullshit.
PS: I hope this comment balances the comments from Hiba fans who clearly love and adore her grace and beauty.
I love how he advocates for conserving and carrying forward the good legacy of our ancestors. As far as that is done it's fine but it shouldn't turn into discrimination of other groups which is happening a lot now. I believe that conservatives are needed for building societies and for progressing them past a certain threshold till everyone is able to attain a good standard of living. Anarchy won't get us far if we are nowhere in terms of living standards.
West can afford leftist views now since they are going through times if abundance. But it was mass conservatism which lead them to where they are today. So even though I am personally for equality for all, I think we may need a dose of conservatism and capitalism for crossing that threshold minus the bigotry.

I have not read the book but a key historical fact is that the British essentially defeated the Marathas and Ranjit Singh, not Muslim rulers.
