I think some of us moms tend to lose old friendships bc we literally make our kids our personality😭 I’ve caught myself non stop talking about my daughter like how annoying would that be to ppl who don’t have kids? I only have mommy friends now🙂

Not a mom but I have a story. I ended up fixing a friendship with one of my older friends (we had gone separate ways in HS) who became pregnant at 21. All her friends dropped her in a heartbeat. It’s the party age, I get it. But I finally decided, after like a year, I would go see her, she had her baby like a week before. I brought a onesie and some stuff for mama. She burst into tears. She said she has felt so alone and that I was what she had been needing.
To this day, I am at every family event for her daughter. That little girl is like a niece and we found an even better friendship than we had before.
It’s sad so many people drop their friends in these situations. But the true ones embrace your growing family ♥️♥️

I know it’s hard but PLEASE always take time to yourself. Mental health is soooo important especially as a mom. I have a 1 and 3 year old and never had a break they are with me everyday all day. Of course I don’t mind cuz these are my children but I’ve watched me lose myself completely. So please make sure to take of you so you can take care of your environment ❤️ your doing great!!!

My daughter is 8 months and I’ve still managed to maintain my friendships. There have absolutely been times I couldn’t meet up with them etc, but my friendships have not been an issue.

I’m a stay at home mom, and my first baby is about to go to kindergarten. I’m so used to having her around me all the time and now she’s gonna be gone all day! I’m gonna be sobbing all day.
It’s hard sometimes I feel like they would take me not hanging out with them personal when I was just busy being a new mom at 15 I felt alone and lost 😞 especially because no one around my age could relate.
