I doubt Netflix will take this, the actors had already been released almost a year ago when the show runners knew the series would end in season 3. But to end it on a cliffhanger like this just makes me think, why did you waste my time, Into the Badlands. =/

@@ironcity8693 Agreed. when it first started it was great, had some good action in it and the story was great. now there are way too many characters to even care about and it's a bore fest, not to mention they do the same thing over and over again, the villain shows up with a group threatens or kills members from Alexandria then rick and the gang eventually kill the villain (or in Negan's case jail) rinse and repeat. this last season 9 was it for me, especially since they wrote Rick off. but ITB has been so much better than the last few seasons of TWD which wont be ending anytime soon sadly.

I'm not sure they will be season 4 cos AMC announced that late last month. Let's hope for another episode from season 3. The lone survivor now have a gun and sunny will be back to life. The widow used her gift to revenge tilda and Mk saw his mistakes but it was too late for him. I enjoyed this movie than any other series. Let's hope for more actions from Sunny and Badjie

About that cliffhanger you got a problem with... the gun was made of gold. Yes, gold can go several hundred of years without rusting. It was raining. Whatever dirt and soil stuck in the gun would be mud, sliding off easily as the gears starts turning. So, no, it wasn't that stupid.
We got a door cracked open a bit. It's closed enough if it ends here, but open enough that if it gets saved and picked up somewhere for Season 4, they can continue.

I felt he wasn't himself for a lot of season 3 and lost a lot of battles, but he was definitely badass in the finale.
