this song has made me feel something i have never felt before: my past self is singing this song to the man i’ve become. i was overcome with emotion listening to this song and I couldn’t know why… I listened to it a couple dozens times since then, and since I romanticize my younger self, i didn’t expect that maybe my younger self would do the opposite - almost resent me for becoming less wild. to be less in love with the world. Deadhead at heart, but country’s going back into that old traditional country with new era storytelling sound and I’m hear for it. You go girl, get big because you have the chance.
