I use sulfate and silicon free shampoo and conditioner that has jamaican black castor oil on it from shea moisture. I use to have very short hair, like boyshort hair almost 8 urs ago and it was dyed. Now all that hair is gone and has grown that long.
To get it even more straight you have to blow dry the hair straight with the comb attachment on a blow dryer then straighten it I know because my hair is long like that you should really try it 😊
You should of weny through the hair twice cause leaving it like that it makes it puff up quicker.. My cousins hair is exactly like that and I have to pass the straightener like 3 times for it to actually be straight

Next time you do Her hair... take the section that you are going to straighten, and lightly mist it with a spray bottle with water in it and use argon oil and put it on that section then spray with heat protectant. Her hair will shine and the steam will make the hair softer.
I have curly hair and whats even better than ceramic flat iron is one with titanium plates thats what I use its so much quicker to use it is just amazing Ive gone through so many straighteners in my life but so far this has been the best although sadly the kind I have is only in the uk but its def worth looking up

You should have had a air conditioner of a fan on low so that her hair wouldn't frizz up hair that has never been flatironed herds this because even if the air is t humid it can still get moisture from the air and from the sweat on the scalp
As you can see you need to go many times trough and the result isn't even silky straight wich I'm sure you want if you're going to straighten your hair. I recommend Remington I have owned 2of them and they work really well, In 1pass you get silky straight hair and I'm mixed (half African half Finnish). Tip: blow dry top and ends (not middle) after straightening to have a silky straight hair. It will eliminate most frizz.

You should use a croc flat iron in Infrared! It's really great for tight curls.
