This year was my first experience at a anime convention and I really enjoyed it. It really open my eyes to checking out more conventions in the future. Also, It crazy to hear my voice in the video. After that experience, I felt so embarrassed because I really just walk up to your table without even knowing your name. Instead, I said “ You know Krystal?” which was rude of me. I remember walking past your booth and I thought it was so cool to see bonnets! I never saw such a selection at a con and just knew you would do well. So nice to see the friendly face behind the art!

This was my first MomoCon ever and it was definitely overwhelming! I felt like it took me a whole year to get to the vendor hall 🤣🤣🤣 But I had a great time! And I'm glad that I was able to stop buy and get some strawberry milk scrunchies!!!
Yes, and then you became a Kembeckled model later that week! Ain't that crazy 😭 but yeah that layout was so exhausting. So excited to see them condense it again for 2025.

What a thorough review! I've vended at Momocon for a few years before 2020 and would like to go again. Glad they are making it smaller and going back to Thursday - Sunday next year. Dragoncon is the biggest one we got here and having folks say it will be comparable to that was a little discouraging. Glad it went well for you!
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! 🥰 I tried to cover everything that I could about Momocon. And there are so many people recommending Dragoncon to me but it literally sounds massive 😭 do you think it'd be worth a shot?
@Kembeckled It is massive! Spread across several hotels. The artist alley and vendors are in one building but separated by floors. We had to wait almost 2 hours to get in. From what some authors and artists told me, the traffic and sales were great. But, most did share a table. So, that may flavor the experience.
everytime i check for momo applications i realise i missed them by like two weeks lolol i wish there was an easy way to find people to table with bc this is so silly
I literally make a google sheet for all of the cons I'm interested in and put the app dates there 😭then I put a reminder in my calendar once they give us the date. It's so much to keep up with!
I personally didn't get to experience Momo as a regular attendee so take what I say with a grain of salt but yes! There's a lot to see and do, the energy is pretty great, and I would come back even if wasn't a vendor 🥰
Living in a small town on an island; there is t a bunch of events let alone cons to apply for without going in the red. True girl; the audience, flow, stock is tricky so being able to stay solid in what your hustle is can be rewarding. 🤍🖤🤍 thank you for sharing

I vended in AA as well for 2024 and it was my first con to sell at ever so it was a great experience.
