Awesome unboxing video again for The Fairly OddParents: The Complete Series on DVD and thanks again very much too for finally uploading this video! I still remember watching this show a lot back when I was younger, and I also can't wait to add this to my movie collection soon!
The discs aren’t new there just reused copies of the first 8 seasons from Amazon years ago and seasons 9&10 are the same from the individual seasons 9&10 released last month
I like how Sparky and Chloe are not featured anywhere on the seasons 9 and 10 packaging because Nickelodeon actually wants those sets to sell and knows how hated those characters are.
@@andykishore Tbf I would like them to have those characters on the disc art. I don't like Sparky or Chloe but it would make the character art more variety. Besides it would show that those are the seasons with them for those who don't know.
Apparently this technically IS a "MANUFACTURED-on-demand" release, but not a "BURNED-on-demand" release. Nick did that same thing with the individual Seasons 9 & 10, along with Really Loud House Season 1, Rugrats reboot Season 2, TMNT 2003 complete series, and the Blu-ray versions of Tales of the TMNT Season 1 (DVD version was a DVD-R), Good Burger 2 (DVD was a retail release), and Hey Arnold!: The Movie (DVD was out at retail for many years). The only true "DVD-R" releases Nick has now are the FOP reissues, Thundermans Return, Loud House Christmas Collection, and Tales of the TMNT Season 1 (DVD version). The way to tell the difference between retail pressed discs and MOD pressed discs is the size of the barcode on the back (though this set has a bigger barcode than other MODs, it's still smaller than retail ones), as well as the disc artwork having white lettering as opposed to transparent.
I don’t know why it took them this long to put it out, the show has been off the air since 2017, but nice to see it’s finally out now and that you have it.

Okay, I actually honestly need to get this out of the open though just to sort of get this off of my chest. I know there's other people here on TH-cam besides me who also have trouble themselves with comments and videos and things like that since I'm not alone in this, but even when it happens though, it is still very annoying and I'm only just saying too.
I like the first 5 seasons, and I know Nelvana distributed Seasons 1-4 internationally, and this show allegedly aired on Disney Channel overseas like Latin America
It's much the same as how when i was younger i'd fallen off from watching Rugrats to some degree after the first movie, at least when compared to how i did before, as the seasons with Dil and Kimi i didn't care for nearly as much as the earlier ones. Now, granted even with that i still quite enjoy The Rugrats Movie, Rugrats in Paris and Rugrats Go Wild fairly good as individual films (in particular the latter as i like The Wild Thornberrys as with that series' own film) but in general the last few seasons after Kimi was added to the cast and the opening changed never have appealed to me as much, even back in the early 2000's when they were first airing on TV.
Paramount always has the worst packaging. I'd be fine with it being a bit more expensive if it means they don't stack multiple disks on top of each other

I never watched past season 3, but now if I have some free time to watch them I'll check the seasons after that out. Thanks for doing the comparison as well. I didn't get the individual ones in hopes of a complete series box set someday. Other than the stacked discs issue it otherwise appears I made the right choice. I'd love to get a complete series of classic Ben 10 someday or maybe a Ben 10 complete franchise box set similar to the Captain Planet one. The next complete series DVD to add to my collection is Pokemon XYZ coming in February 2025.
Don’t we all want Rocket power as well as Doug invader zim chalk zone My life teen robot As told by ginger And All Grown up. Then we’d have every complete series on dvd from every show from Rugrats through Avatar.
The disc holders are actually pretty strong on this set compared to the previous Paramount sets, so at least Paramount is putting in some effort in this by their standards. It’s a good way of holding 35 discs, even if the packaging is bad.
Basically the first eight seasons are identical to the old Amazon DVD-Rs, just on pressed discs. Noted Also I love how they got Vicky's name wrong in the description 😂
It’s also funny how someone over looked how the description says 30 hours but the bottom corner says 68 hours oppps I say 68 sounds more realistic for A 10 season show
I know this is an unpopular opinion, but i actually enjoyed seasons 9 and 10. This is my fifth favorite nick show. So happy it finally has a complete series set.
Nice that one of Nick's largest show that isn't SpongeBob now has a complete box set, bit disappointed that it seems they haven't changed the disc's from seasons 1-8 that were burn on demand. Seasons 9 and 10 having Disc art is good though even if the season quality were subpar at best. May get the set if I can sell my dvds from the first 8 seasons.
Watch a couple of episodes a night till you watch it all but since I don't really care for the show I'm not going to pick this up not even for a collector's item I'm not picking up something I don't really care for that's just a waste of money
i don't like this box set either but yeah i see why people don't like this show. it's not one of my favorites but i watch it since there's boredom in me and it manages to make me laugh every so often. also we don't speak of Hartman.
I'm just really upset that there are *NO BONUS CONTENT.* The Fairly OddParents had many compilation DVDs from 2002-2006 by Paramount, all of which had bonus content. Shout Factory got old extras on their Jimmy Neutron DVDs! Hey Arnold got a new season 1 disc just to add a couple of NEW PARAMOUNT EXTRAS back in 2017. What gives?
Considering Paramount themselves put out those old compilation DVDs back in the 2000s, they would still own the rights to those special features, including those of the Oh Yeah! Cartoon shorts.
this one is due to them making it a whole rehash of the dvd rs which didn't have special bonus content by default and paramount got to the point where they abandon adding specials for a little while now same for wb
Yeah the least they could do is add the original 10 shorts or some filmmakers tv show discussion you know butch hartman is so good at speaking I’m sure he’d have spoken on a bonus feature for the history of the show or something.
@@Janie-cz7ck I know if we ever do get Doug Rocket power chalk zone invader zim as told by ginger. My life teen robot. Or all grown up I hope it will be shout factory.
Besides the actual Burn on demand discs are so sensitive and really should not have been made in the first place. An official pressed release is the best for a collector.
so glad I've gotten it for Christmas LOVED The Fairly Oddparents as much as I LOVED SpongeBob there both my favorite Cartoons from Nickelodeon LOVED DVD Box Set
Sir, you better delete that video of an unboxing of “The Fairly OddParents: The Complete Series” on DVD; I’ll go to Walmart and buy myself “The Fairly OddParents: The Complete Series” on DVD when I get to Naples, Florida, where my condo is close to Walmart.
Honestly only the first 5 seasons are worth watching. Season 6 episode 1 is when Poof is introduced and after that it's all downhill. Also the original 10 pilot shorts made for Oh Yeah Cartoons are tragically not here, and the Drake Bell live action movie trilogy (A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up Timmy Turner, A Fairly Odd Christmas, and A Fairly Odd Summer) aren't here
While I agree that the first 5 seasons are the best, I didn't think Seasons 6-8 were that bad. They weren't quite as good as 1 through 5 though. Seasons 9 and 10 on the other hand, I'd rather just ignore those.
As someone who prefers to have pressed discs, I'd probably take the discs out of the big box and put each season in their own individual cases (I've got tons of empty ones), and keep the big box as more of a display piece. At least that's what I did with my Rugrats set.
As far as I can tell, the individual releases of Seasons 9 and 10 are proper, pressed disc releases, but I have yet to find anything of the first 8 in any other form than Burn-On-Demand. I'd *prefer* to buy the individual seasons instead, but if the I can *only* get Seasons 1-8 in B-O-D form then I'd rather get the boxed set. Has anyone seen explicitly pressed releases of the first eight seasons? I've found "new listings," but I've seen no proof that they're not B-O-D
@kirisuna19 I actually know! Season 6 was an Austsrallian version of a pressed Season 6 set Nick half released in the USA. Seasons 1-5 got to Australlia via International owner Nelvana who partially owns distribution of the first five seasons outside of the USA (which is why Disney aired rhe show in parts of Europe and Latin America)
The burn on demand discs say Dvd R logo on the disc where this one doesn’t and the Dvdr have bar codes on the bottom of the disc and the purple back side non of this is on the new discs.
My pet peeve is Why Doesn’t it have better packaging when the first 100 episodes of SpongeBob has good packaging and this set only has 172 episodes, they could’ve definitely made the packaging like SpongeBobs 🫤
they probably could've done a 100 episodes title but if they have obvious favoritism towards Spongebob and not this than i don't know what their deal is.
@@Janie-cz7ckmy conspiracy theory is that they purposely put bad packaging so the disc are more likely to get scratched so then more people will use the streaming service

Amazing video, I would like to see Rocket Power: The Complete Series!😍♥️🥳🎉
Don’t we all want Rocket power as well as Doug invader zim chalk zone My life teen robot As told by ginger And All Grown up. Then we’d have every complete series on dvd from every show from Rugrats through Avatar.
Hope they start selling it physically at Walmart soon
Its not only amazon
@@donnellcoleman7784 i know it's not only Amazon but I'd rather wait til I can buy it physically at Walmart
I just bought this with some Christmas money I got, can’t wait for it to arrive from Amazon
Noted
Also I love how they got Vicky's name wrong in the description 😂
It’s also funny how someone over looked how the description says 30 hours but the bottom corner says 68 hours oppps I say 68 sounds more realistic for A 10 season show
I know this is an unpopular opinion, but i actually enjoyed seasons 9 and 10. This is my fifth favorite nick show. So happy it finally has a complete series set.
I'm getting that.
I want to get this but hate the new packeting they do for them.
Many people told me about this after spongebob dvd tv video from this channel
i'm happy they finally released the complete series officially on dvd now we need a complete series of Rocket Power As Told By Ginger and Doug
Doug already has a complete series DVD.
@@andykishore yeah but not officially released just a burn on demand release
@@PhillipRockerThe Pressed DVD rights are owned by Disney. Same reason why Doug doesn't get toys and merchandise during Nick crossover things
@@CosmicSponge2004I would assume that only applies to the Disney seasons though? I figured Nick still technically owned their seasons
I'm so proud of you
Proud of him? What did he do?
@@kirisuna19 They say that every time he unboxes a show they like. Ignore them.
It will be nice to see your updated Nickelodeon dvd collection for 2025
Thank you
I'm just really upset that there are *NO BONUS CONTENT.*
The Fairly OddParents had many compilation DVDs from 2002-2006 by Paramount, all of which had bonus content. Shout Factory got old extras on their Jimmy Neutron DVDs! Hey Arnold got a new season 1 disc just to add a couple of NEW PARAMOUNT EXTRAS back in 2017. What gives?
Shout Factory should release more Nickelodeon titles. Paramount themselves just do a horrible job.
Why u buy complete series just a waste of money when u already have what u got n get s9 n 10 dvd
he buys things he's interested in.
You mean his seasons 1-8 unboxing video?
I mean it’s his channel ,he’ll decide to whether he keeps this video

Honestly only the first 5 seasons are worth watching. Season 6 episode 1 is when Poof is introduced and after that it's all downhill. Also the original 10 pilot shorts made for Oh Yeah Cartoons are tragically not here, and the Drake Bell live action movie trilogy (A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up Timmy Turner, A Fairly Odd Christmas, and A Fairly Odd Summer) aren't here
i watch it occasionally just when i'm bored.
While I agree that the first 5 seasons are the best, I didn't think Seasons 6-8 were that bad. They weren't quite as good as 1 through 5 though. Seasons 9 and 10 on the other hand, I'd rather just ignore those.
I bought season 1-10 serperate because i didint want the packaging
Smart thinking
Well, not the first 8, in Australia we got the first 6 seasons on actual pressed disks, for some reason not 7-10, tho, which I've never understood!
@@CosmicSponge2004 Ahhh! But it's a shame we didn't get S7-10!
The burn on demand discs say Dvd R logo on the disc where this one doesn’t and the Dvdr have bar codes on the bottom of the disc and the purple back side non of this is on the new discs.
@@kirisuna19Season 6 released in Australia? I've only ever seen Seasons 1-5 there.
Perfect 69/10
❤😊
Of course the artwork is lazily done. The show itself had barely any effort put into it as it progressed.
Paramount only does a better job with Spongebob and people argue about that show's decline in quality all the time.
Yeah, a lot of the artwork is repeated images, even on the seasons 9 and 10 discs.
@@Wishfull._..Editor57they probably didn’t care about it cause they know people are gonna buy it
