Love Muay Thai but why knee someone in the head, while there standing and you have to jump that high ? There knee cap is much easier to get to? Maybe I'm just lazy, old, fat and bald to get it.

This was meant for war of the art of 11 limbs such as fists/hands, forearms, elbows, maybe shoulders thats why i said 11 and not 13 limbs of the body, the head but shouldn’t be used that much said a master cause it damages your self and your opponent, knees, shin/whole leg. Air technique/flying technique, high mid low technique, grapple technique, strength, stamina, speed, best defence, and much more that will take me a long time to list. Muay Boran was meant to protect yourself and your family and country and it was used to kill your opponent in seconds and this was useful for fighting more then 1 opponent. The flying knee was a useful move to kill there opponent very fast i hope i answered your question.

*Some facts about Muay Korat* General Amnat Pookrisuk is a senior military officer who in his spare time teaches his own interpretations of Muay Veti (Muay Thai) to foreigners. Throughout his military career he has never fought in a boxing ring. He was never qualified as a Muay Thai teacher (Krob Kru) and is only an admirer of this sport. His famous „water buffalo technique“ comes from the (supposedly fictional) stories of Ajarn Ket Sriyapai. Amnat likes to teach outside Thailand when he is on a business trip. Because he is a senior member of the military, he cannot be prosecuted. He knows many Thaiboxers through his participation in the betting business at Lumpini Stadium. He only learned Judo and Taekwondo from his military training. He mixed these styles with normal Muay Thai techniques and exports them abroad. Occasionally he claims to be able to do Ling Lom, but this is not true. Muay Korat was never in a Muay Thai fight and can neither be called an ancient nor a pure Thai martial art. Source: Pantip. com (dig deep and you’ll find what they don’t want you to know! 🤫)
