#CrusaderKings3 #CK3DLC #CK3
"Legitimacy to my rule" makes me think of coronations.
I want to say this is just in reference to Fate of Iberia but also the Conflicts with neighbors and None can doubt my legitimacy to rule people often complain about the faction stability in CK3 And in connection to that economy proposal people often rose up against there king because they would spend to much to focused on wars outside of the realm rather then there own subjects
Carved into stone makes me think of RuneStones and how people will often take norse everywhere :P
I stand on my theory that it is revised Feudalism. The legitimacy to rule e.g ruling in your own right rather than just by appointment of the King.
"carved in stone" is perminantly which could hit at your dynasty perminantly occupying that territory. This could really fit with und landed charachters too tho so I am excited. I really hope that it is a revision of Feudalism. Like they did kinda well with Feudal contracts but the system right now is way to rigid. Like I wanna see the struggle between the French and the English King as he was still a Noble in the French Kingdom but also a independent monarch. Also I reeeeally want tributaries back. Maybe also a system where you have more authority over some of your vassals than others. And a revision of the Crown domain. For example the Duchies of Aquitaine Normandy and Burgundy as well as the Counties of Flanders, Toulouse and Anjou were really autonomous but the French King also had Nobles within his royal domain who would mostly be called Lord. So. Maybe also a revision of the Title system with more ranks in it idk I'm going off trail haha
I'd love more autonomous vassels etc, I enjoyed how armies worked in IR with commanders controlling armies if they didn't like you enough
Agriculture comment might be right! But in a larger scale. Today it suggests a carving to a stone which can mean a building in any shape. If we think all of it as economy, agriculture and architecture theories makes sense. Plus to reinforce that today's entry is about architecture and economy, there was a dynasty legacy exclusive to iberians which upgraded utilities from city holdings. All in all I still think it can be about economy but besides all, as a second guess it might be a faith dlc. It can go as in lines of I did that I saw that and at the and I found salvation. It can build itself to a crusade mechanic and faith improvements.
I hope they have a change with priests or imams or religious leaders to no sinful traits at all especially if it’s a pope or other head of religion with no sinful trait as well as to have high levels of faith historically as they were
It is still unlanded characters.
It is describing a bit the life of Harald Hardrada.
Who made his rule legitimate by conquest and carved in stone like the vikings did record history at that time
that''s not even close to historically accurate, Hardrada was the son of the former king of Norway, his legitimacy came from his riches from being a Varangian, and his blood. he tried to conquer brittain but failed miserably
Or maybe EL CID
@@samiman5606 True
@@davidcoquelle3081 You're right but he lost that right when he lost that battle when he was a teenager and had to run from his own lands to become a refugee in Ukraine until he made his fortune in in the byzantine empire to be able to assemble an army to recover his rule again.
@@1992zorro true but I would not call that conquest
I really hope it's unlanded/adventures characters.
But I hope those are not only historical ones, but even customised.
I.e. I always wanted to play starting as the Count of my hometown Padua (not possible without console comand or the Entitled mod), but if I can customise an unlanded character and be some kind of Knight or adventurer at the Duke of Friuli's court I can see a story of becoming Count and then going on...
Unlanded characters, religious leaders and republics need to be playable.
It's unlikely but something like a "Merchants and Mercenaries" DLC would be good.
Where you play as a guild ruler, mercenary captain, holy order master, or religious leader.
You'd need to be able to have multiple "lieges" for the castles, cities, and temples so I'm not sure if the game could handle the exception to its absolute hierarchy.
I doubt that agriculture is the theme of the chapter, but I would really like a Imperator-like food system in CK, since famines occured so often and were such a central element of medieval society, or is that historically wrong? :D
you're correct ... there goes my agriculture themed hints :(
But anyways, only a few days left to wait until paradox tells more next tuesday (which they confirmed they will do on their forums).
Yeah Tuesday is going to reveal everything, can't wait!
I hope they will make EL CID stronger
Appreciate the hype!
Could be some more bookmarked characters maybe idk, probably will be a few more posts before we get a real hint idk
Unlanded pls 🙏
