I think why your videos are longer than other mangatubers is because you talk about each manga and not just showcase them like others do. Which I actually love.
That's great to hear! I always wonder if people are maybe turned off by my spending time talking about each series and not just blasting through them like everyone else. 🤣

After a long and stressful day at work I find it nice to listen to the calm and soothing voice of EC talking about manga. Gives me a moment of chill in a world of chaos.

Had no idea. This is the first I'm hearing about it. That will be pretty cool to add to the shelf! Haha, yeah. I do want to start using my Spanish manga for videos. There is definitely a pretty big Spanish market for manga. I've bought it from Mexican sellers as well as Spanish sellers. Some of it is a little harder to come by though. Thanks for watching! 🙌
Awesome haul, some great books there! Your videos are longer because you put in a lot more work, and that's what I love about them. I really do appreciate the research you do for every title/author and showing a bit of the art inside!
Congrats on winning that Sandman bad boy, looks awesome and I'm sure you'll love it... I started collecting the Romanian edition, and only read the first 3 books, but they are coming out pretty slow, so I'm probably gonna continue with the rest in EN. Also, I'm very envious of that Bestiarius box-set, never heard of that series, but it looks gorgeous. I've only read "Hideout" by the same mangaka (love it!) and heard great things about "Green Blood" and "The Tree of Death" (the art in both is... wow).
Didn't even realize how prolific of a creator he even is. Bestiarius is incredible, through both the story and the art. Tree of Death volume 1 is available in English, so I'll probably pick it up sooner or later. Also want to check out Green Blood as a fan of westerns. Pretty sure I can find it in Spanish.

@@eclecticcollector88 "Hideout" is a one-shot (more on the horror side), just so you know if you ever spot it somewhere. Forgot to mention I also love Dandadan, Boy's Abyss and Oshi No Ko - first one is absolutely bonkers, lol, can't wait for the anime! As for Blood Blade, I probably went into it with too many expectations :), loved the art, but the story is not what I hoped for... at least, not yet. Hope it gets better.

I’m loving these super long manga hauls, also I really want to get into reading Spanish manga. I can read and write a little bit but I’m not that good, do you think reading in Spanish will help? I want to read Billy Bat because it probably will never come to the states.
Any immersion in a language is definitely helpful. It will for sure help you get better at reading and comprehending it. I do that with Japanese, which I've been learning. Any time I can read things in hiragana/katakana I go out of my way to do so. Even if I don't know what the word means.

I've also gotten into western comics recently, I'm finding it more appealing than manga from a writing and art stand point. I'd rly like to know what other western comics appeals to you.
The Wrenchies by Farel Dalrymple is one of my favorite comics ever. Super imaginative. I also really liked the first Saga hardcover. Also been reading Preacher on and off.

Where did you get those GTO mangas?
Got them from a seller based out of Spain. You can find them on ebay and amazon.
