312whp on 15psi and 91 on ct15b ?! Thats hard to believe even for a 3sgte lover, more details on the turbo would be great, spools so fast for the power it makes on stock ecu and no 93/ethanol/race fuel
Yup. Dyno Numbers don’t lie. It’s all uncontested and 0 soothing. The 312whp is on e30 which is 91octane with 30% e85. The 289whp is on regular 91 octane pissed ca gas. I’ve been getting the same on all of my mr2s. Over 10 of my mr2 with same set up. Car has the billet Campos 15b with regular bolt ones. Smic Berk dp and Berk exhaust
I still don't know why people get out by leaning on the arm rest like that. I never did that before and was shocked to hear that that is a common issue.

Depends what you wanna do. I have two 91s and one I wanna do a either gen4 or 2gr and other I'm gonna leave stock. The one I swap the motor one I plan to make a track car. The other with the 5sfe will be a street car. With the k20 swap you can absolutely blow either option away in terms of making power. Probably just as reliable. I mean those k20 swapped mr2s are litterally beasts. Good luck with your build man
Hey Bob looking bring my NA 93 mr2 into a power band it was meant to be at. Found a gen 4 caldina engine. But some are say it can be a tricky swap. Would you recommend I go for it or settle for a gen 2 or 3 instead? My step dad has his own shop so ill be able to do the swap there. Any advice would greatly be appreciated. 🍻 on me if it goes well! 🔥
xav B always go with Oem stuff. That’s why most of my cars are mainly have that stock oem look. My track cars other hand gets all the aftermarket seats bodykits etc, because i build those for myself

Richie Madray There are some really great swap wiring threads online. That’s what I used. I have zero experience with 5th Gen engines however. I prefer a T-VIS engine with a steel CT-20b from an ST-205 Celica GT4 WRC. I’ll see if I can find the threads I used. Was your car a USDM N/A before the swap?
most 5th gen swaps I have heard of have used gen4 electronics. 5th gen has immobilizer that you pretty much need all electrics and original key for. that being said, someone may have found a workaround.... GL
Yeah, all I’ve seen so far is 3rd and 4th gen swaps. Is the immobilizer function performed by the ECU or a separate module? It shouldn’t differ much from the Lexus engine swaps, I wouldn’t think (But I don’t know obviously). Good luck, sir.

Chika Nduaguibe 20-40whp. It spool quicker and harder then stock and to redline. My #WhiteWalkerMr2 did 360whp at 19psi with e85 tunes link ecu. 1000cc injectors. 340ft tq. The stock ecu sucks ass btw.

@@BobPham We cant even run 95 octane fuel on stock ecu's in uk usually need 98/99 for reliability keeps things cooler.

Wiregap inc can have the immobilizer disable. Just google them. There in the USA
On my 2000 Camry has the same type of engine I gotta soup it up more power or sell it getting a 2000 Lexus IS300.
