Sir, suppose there exist a shortcut for a problem which I don't know of(alligation techniques for example), so i keep practicing the problem the wrong way but improves my time on it. Can you help a little here?
The alligation method is not actually a magic thing that spits out the answer in seconds. But it is portrayed so. Think about it.
Please don't go after this shortcuts which, as you said might come in handy in decreasing the time spent but works on a very narrow set of problems with a zillion conditions attached.
Pandemic spoiled my plans of grabbing my first job in 2020. I am from a journalism background with internships under my belt. I researched and now, am changing my career path towards MBA. Is it abnormal to bank everything on CAT 2021 or other MBA exams?

Sir I have started my prep one weak before n I gave my first mock today and scored 67 percentile so should I give more mocks bcz I have covered all the topic yet!! Or I should complete the topic and then start
Which coaching you are prefering?
Start mock taking very early. Take mocks along side your preparation. Your wait for portion completion won't end as there is no stipulated portions as such.
Sir any advice for working professionals starting from June, usually spend 10-12 hours on work. Best way to go about the prep?

CAT don't want you to be sashi tharoor , Read as much you can and try to comprehend
Vocabulary doesn't matter that much. U just need to prepare for reading comprehension and all so just read and practice
7.4 cgpa /68.8% /74 % in 10th/12th/graduation. And i had done my graduation in petroleum enginnering (2020) due to pandemic didn't get admission or job anywhere ,now in 2021 i am preparing for GATE EXAM if i able to clear the exam next year and placed in some IITs for my masters and along with that if i start my preparation for CAT and able to crack it in my final year od masters . So will i would be expect any call from any institutions coz my grades are very weak , not many curricular activities and technically i have 2 year gap 🙄🙄??
There are many people who took year's gap like I know one girl she's in IIM Calcutta and she did 4yrs btech, then 2yrs mtech, then she prepared for upsc for 1 yr and then she gave cat exam next year. So she had also wasted a lot of time but still she got selected. So don't lose hope you could also get selected
One thing I don't understand is that if u are gng to do masters then why give cat? U can just join a company for job after that OR else don't prepare for masters, directly prepare for cat this year. I think you are just wasting ur time and year by doing masters. Plzzz don't feel bad, I'm just telling you my opinion, rest of the things are in ur hands. I just gave my opinion of what I would have done if I was in ur situation

@@abhilashnegi5516 U shouldn't think negative about ur future. Even if u were not good in studies in the past, that doesn't mean that you can't be good now. I would suggest you to join a coaching for 6 months crash course, coaching really helps a lot if u follow it religiously. I was also not a good student, but then I joined coaching and practiced everyday and now I'm in one of the top engineering college in India

Yes definitely I know many seniors from my college who started their preparation in June and got into IIMs. But yes, ur portion should be completed by September, and after that for 2 months u need to give mock papers continuously. Then only u can clear CAT 2021
