I’m amazed as an ex Morrison’s employee that they can even have that food out the back, environmental health would have a field day, they should not be holding out of date stock anywhere on their premises, let alone selling it to people which they technically are???? Very very interesting indeed, you should be given the stock that was reduced that day with the yellow stickers on it, and if it doesn’t go into a bag or box that day, then it must go out in the yard bins???
As far as laundry sanitiser goes I find Napisan works well along with the normal washing powder. Home Bargains sell it. It has the same active ingredient, but it works out far cheaper. I used to pop a large tablespoons worth in with the washing powder, but now I put it in the drum as it sometimes doesn't dissolve fully in the compartment.
@@millymaie It doesn't contain chlorine bleach so doesn't do the damage to fabrics that a chlorine based bleach does. The main ingredient is sodium percarbonate, which technically has a bleaching effect as it's an oxygen based bleaching agent/stain remover. I got confused re it being same ingredients as the Dettol, but it is still a highly effective laundry sanitiser. However, I've used it on multiple different colours of wash, including my husband's very dark work uniform and at the dose recommended for addition to washing powder I've noticed no bleaching effect at all. If at all concerned you could do a test wash. I've used it for years with no problems. It's been around for decades, it's a vintage product like me. Haha
I used to get Dobbies Too Good to Go bags and they were brilliant. Recently I got 2 bags at different times and they were rubbish. Every item was use by that day or the day before and lots of yoghurt, fresh cream and fresh cream cakes. The other bag I added up the reduced cost and it came to £2.90. I complained about both bags. I was told it’s not the reduced cost that is used but the full asking price!! Really for things that are out of date. I did get a refund for both bags but am reluctant to try again xx
I completely understand your disappointment and frustration. Rant away! That's why we are called a community. Yes we are all in this together. And the Lord will make a way. Praying your eye is a minor condition and a safe and wonderful trip for your son!
Hoping your eye will be fine; sorry this is a difficult time for you- hang in there. Those spoiled veg from the boxed Morrisons is terrible, why put something in that condition in the magic bag/box; you weren't ranting, LizzyBee! Hope both TGTG & Morrisons get to the bottom of this situation. Great job on your monthly spend!
Seems that Morrisons isn't great at stock control. Regarding Asda I think the same they will merge the two brands and put prices up or reduce weight. Every time I shop items have gone up. Sorry for the loss of your brother anniversaries and times of celebration are difficult emotionally. I lost my brother four years ago and his eldest daughter two years ago.
Don’t be grateful for food poisoning. This contravenes all health and safety guidelines. The supermarket should put perishable food that expires that day in the boxes. Just found your blog n love it x
I’ve had bad experiences with some Good to Go bags. The general premise is, “If the person handing it over wouldn’t eat it, don’t give it to anyone else.” I’m very disappointed that a big supermarket would do that. You have every right to be angry. The only good Magic Bags I’ve had come from bakeries and coffee shops. Greggs are awesome for this, plus most bread and pastries can be frozen easily!
I wish the greggs around here did it, I've seen some amazing bags. I do manage to get one from a bakery every now and then and their bags are stuffed to the top with great stuff and it freezes well 💕
You are in your rights as sold not fit for purpose ie you can't eat it. Complain to store and then to head office. You could have feed it to your son and he could have been seriously ill . You rant away. Hugs. Hope you r eye condition has been caught early. Those frubes can be frozen.
I am catching up on back episodes and I am so sorry about your brother. My heart goes out to you!!
Thank you 💕
I absolutely agree with you, that is terrible don't let them get away with it xx💕
I'm thinking I should email Morrisons and ask for more details on what they can and can not put in the boxes xx 💕
@@frugallizzybee yes I would too xx🥰

That's what I thought, environmental health would have a field day. Maybe I should email Morrisons and ask what the protocol is for the magic boxes 💕

Is there a bleach in Napisan that could damage the clothes thank you

Full price they are supposed to be worth £10 or more, glad you got a refund xx💕

Great, thanks Tom 💕

Sorry for your loss too, in never gets any easier does it 💕
They will probably do both, reduce weight and increase price.

Thanks Kate, I'm going to email them and find out some more information.
Frubes going in the freezer now, amazing 💕
That's pretty awful. They've given you stuff that should've gone in the bin. Our Morrisons rarely has anything and the reviews aren't great either.
The star rating has gone down the last couple of weeks, at least it will make good compost 💕
That box some of that veg was just shameful & dangerous to eat 😕
Im glad other people agree and it wasn't just me being ungrateful 💕
