No man, Nate is his training partner not his teacher. When Nate was going up against Conor it was Kron who helped him prepare for the fight. So they help each other out. But Nate did get his belt in bjj from a gracie school

I'm bias becuase I'm a Jiu Jitsu guy, but all the speculation about if he is a "complete fighter" is kinda invalid at the moment. He has a lot to improve on and I feel like he will on his way through the ranks. I'm excited to watch him develope his skills as needed. I've watched Kron for years as a monster on the mats and his transition to mma fighting in Japan. He is adaptable and has a real sense of never ending improvment. When you have been doing jiu jitsu your whole life at a high level it does take pressure off your ground game and allow for you to focus on your weaknesses such as his striking. Either way I'm excited to see the future for him.

Debbie Downer gracies were the best Ju Jitsu, I couldn’t even tell you who the boxer was but he certainly wasn’t the worlds best and no Thais for the muaythai etc etc.the original ufc was made to glorify Ju Jitsu which worked but it would’ve been interesting to have the best of every discipline.
