- Here is a compilation video of most of my MP36 clips seen on this channel. The 3 different commuter railroad types of MP36’s I’ve seen is CalTrain, Metrolink, and Metra. These may not be the only units I see, I can see different types of others in the future which I already have, but have no footage of. For instance: GO Transit (although those are MP40’s). Anyways, I don’t know why the last few clips look weird, I didn’t do anything, I may have pressed a button on accident to maybe have set up the video like that. After all, I don’t really mind it. I hope you enjoyed the video, and till then, I’ll see you guys down the line!!
Very neat compilation! I've always thought the MP36's were cool units.
Thanks Mike!! Me too, I always love those notched sounds and idling, it’s just great to hear an engine like that.
An amazing video! It is always a great pleasure to be enjoying your videos and supporting you via my best of my abilities. As always, despite the challenges that we face, continue doing your best to strive with your spectacular work. Although I may not be very present at times, but I’ll do my best to support you as much as I can. I truly wish you all the best, and wishing you and your family a delightful holiday season! 🍀
Thank you very much!! I appreciate the wonderful comments of yours!!
Nice MP36 Vid. Happy 15th anniversary Metrolink MP36!! 🎉
Thanks!! I didn’t know the Metrolink MP36 15th anniversary was today, I thought it was metrolinks 25th lol
@@SoCalOCRailfan lol, the 15th anniversary of the MP36 was on 22 April, kinda late sorry but it’s still this year and Metrolink turned 31 on 26 October

Thanks Evan!!
@@SoCalOCRailfan No problem
Didn't know they had a -2 designation
Yeah, although the Metra and Caltrain variants are -3’s if curious, I didn’t put that though cuz I barely saw any lol.
@@SoCalOCRailfan I always forget they have the PH too, I’ve called them MP36s all this time
@@railfanryan same! Although sometimes I bring the PH in lol
cool
Thanks!
@@SoCalOCRailfan Your welcome!
The MP36PH-2 doesn't exist, theres only the MP36PH-3C and MP32PH-Q and the MP40PH, there is no such thing as a MP36PH-2, all the ones you caught were MP36PH-3Cs
I’m afraid your wrong…Metrolinks upgrade T4 emissions did not give it -3 standards. It is still classified as a MP36PH-2
@@SoCalOCRailfanactually I thought they were MP36PH-3C?
@@thesocalrailfan those are the Metra variants, metrolinks is -2C
Metra is 3S, the other r 3C
@@SoCalOCRailfan again 2Cs don't exist
