you can tell how much superior akuma is as a character. Honda needs a stronger command grab, I only saw Honda use it at 11:30. Honda barely feels like grappler in his current form. needs grappler buffs and better reach on some of those normal buttons before anyone considers picking him for high stake tournament.
Definitely one of the best Hondas i've seen. I wish there was more top level Hondas but he's still bottom tier so that won't happen until he gets more buffs. Takes a lot of true skill and patience to play that character.

Not really to the opponents moveset all the time. - Parry destroys Honda - Drive rush Negates charge characters inputs If you do it in response to the green flash - And it doesn't help that Honda's ex moves have the lowest priority in the game. You can throw people out of both of them and it doesn't help that sumo Splash no longer can go through fireballs. - other than that, it's just some of his moves. Have really awkward hitboxes and hurt boxes that makes him suffer that they still haven't fixed. He's overall better than season 1, but he's going to stay bottom tier until they truly buffed his character. I actually don't know what character is worse than him. Maybe Aki? I'm not sure about Jamie?

Top rank legends do not just raw random level 3 mid screen lol. He was buffering that for a few seconds before looking for ANY attack from akuma. Since it's invulnerable it doesn't matter if it's a hit or fire ball or what ever

@dodang_9147 He's not a grappler? He has a command grab but that's just one of his many tools, and he beat the akuma in the ft4
10:57 was goated, literally in previous match he didn't kara cancel and saw NL insta DP so he baited it the second time.
