    This is great for learning and drills. A tab for C would be great to work from developing all the other intervals.

    I’m so glad I found your page! I haven’t played my mandolin in years, at least while I was working at learning the fiddle. However, you’ve motivated me to break it out and start working at it again! There’s an endless wealth of material to work with here, and I can’t wait to get back to work! Thanks so much!

    Wayne, I've watched (and liked!) every one of your mandolin videos. Your lessons are the some of most thoughtful, useful and concise mandolin instruction available. Please do a future video on building solos or breaks over common chord progressions. You've touched on this topic in some of your lessons but need more detail. I'm guessing many mando players can play the scales and exercises in your lessons, but I for one struggle to translate the theory into great sounding breaks. Thanks!

      I'll add that to my list of video suggestions Joe! In the meantime checkout the Improvisational Roadmaps video here on WWOM. Pick a chord other than the example in that video and create a "roadmap" of your own. This is part of the process of creating those musical lines......good luck and stay tuned for that video!

    Wayne, your channel is incredible, and you've always been one of my mandolin heroes. I would love to see some repeated videos that just are basically a bag of licks. You've got such a creative style, I would love to see what some of your old standard licks are when you are just unthinkingly playing over something.

      Thx for the comment Keith! I'll certainly add that idea to my list of requested videos. It would be fun content to create......

    Hi Wayne. thanks for the arpeggio exercise. I have viewed several of your videos and find them very challenging, especially the one on harmonizing the Gmaj 7. I would suggest you teach us how to play a specific vocal bluegrass song with a break over the solo using pentatonic scales. thanks.

    Brilliant lesson once again, Wayne. Thank you for lots of good ideas for practice and musical understanding. Between my mandolin and your videos, I think I’m gonna make it through this pandemic! I’m at no loss for something valuable to be doing as long as you keep kicking out such helpful videos.

      Thank you Rick. This channel has got me thru the pandemic too pal. I would've never had time to do this if 3TO had been gigging in 2020.....

    Thank you for this great Mandolin information, just playing now about two months coming from guitar and fiddle. Your vids are high value and Also impact on fiddle too ... Commiting to the pick hold you suggest and would be interested in some Mandolin setup and action thoughts ... Appreciate your very instructive videos thank you.

      Hey Redfish, good luck with the pickhold and thx for watching. I intend to make a setup video as part of my "Mandolin on a Budget" playlist. Stay tuned for that in the coming weeks.....

    I really enjoy your videos. Just wondering...do you ever do any tabs for some of the lessons you post? Thanks.

    • @waynesworldofmandolin3616
      @waynesworldofmandolin3616  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry Sherie but no tab is available for the content here. Most of the content is about developing a good connection to the fretboard so that we don't need it. Good luck and thx for the question......

      Howdy Roger. Unfortunately Wayne's World of Mandolin is a low tech operation (I make these video's on my cell phone). Many viewers have had luck watching on there tv instead of the phone.

    I would like to see a video on alternative ways to play rhythm especially in "A". I want to get away from the chop and the guitar strum style. Thanks
