You're doing a great job! But I hope your wife and kids are not watching these videos because they're going to learn to swap your parts while you're asleep and then all the sudden you'll be tired when you get up and you won't be able to sleep all night. But I imagine they'll be good to you you seem to be a good person so I bet you've treated them all extremely well! So you have a wonderful wonderful day. And you are an extremely good technician.
I was going to ask if there was any PID loop in that controller, tech support answered that and it does. I did notice when it shuts itself off the heating light on touch panel goes out. But when you pulled the relay off the board when heating the light stayed on on the touch panel. So like you eventually figured out, nothing wrong. Operating as designed.
Hi. I have a similar problem in a new device, but the problem occurs rarely. Could the gas pressure have something to do with this problem? The error only appears during the program.
I work mainly in heating with large burners. Combustion analyzer is a must when adjusting gas burner. You need simplest device that can measure oxygen content in order to adjust combustion and secure lit each time. Yes, probably it is relay but adjusting air according flame color can distract you from the real problem.
The anticipation circuit built into the computer makes the heat cycle ramp up to setpoint. If it were to shut off the heat cycle at setpoint, the temp would over shoot. He has to be in a jack in the box 😂😂😂
@@restaurantrepairs nice, I'm in ft lauderdale Florida. It's hard to find good techs to hire down here. I'm on the phone as tech support all day. Do you have issues up that way?
@Trumpdog1 exactly the same. I hire good people and then spend the way too long it takes to grow them in knowledge. Yea I’m on the phone all day as well with my techs helping them
Enjoyed the video, Thanks for sharing.👍
Very good video. Need more like this for the up and coming techs. Fryers can be tricky, tilt pots is another one that gets me every so often

Frymaster strikes again

The old hit the gas value with the screwdriver. Scientific observation. 😂😂😂
When I was training my helper he was at a no heat call and I told him to whack the valve on a carrier and it fired off. He was like WHAT!?!
Good video ! Relays Burnt. You need a New Relay anyway u look at it. order & install a New Relay min. How old are those fryers ?
2018 units
Can this process be used on a big la 330?

Great point 👍🏼
The ignition modules also provide a milliamp read out that can be tapped to set the burners, we are supposed to do it on startups

He is making that stuff up, it should not cycle off early
Whatever happened to the simple millivolt fryers lol
l was going to say the same-thing.I haven’t work on one in about 20 years they over engineering equipment. nowadays
Pain of a fryer 😆 hate them.
Frymaster is a bad word.
