Man.... Im in Motocross Racing since 1989 Im not much a mechanic guy, Last time I did myself was like 16 years ago, I knew it was very easy but once I started I was like “Man...” started looking for video and all of them were putting fire till I found your video!! Wow man, You really Rock! I did it like in 10 seconds. 💪🏻💪🏻 your video should be on Top.
If you don't have a 32mm socket to tap the new bearing back in with (i.e. you're doing this on the trail), use the old bearing. Needless to say, it lines up perfectly!
Very good explanation. Do not do big ass whacks when running out of patience.. exactly how he did it do it.. hard ones add heat to the side the bearing is coming out.. little taps in and out.. no whack a moles ..When busting out the the spray at the end saying don’t forget.. totally at first thought cleaning tools when done😉.
Very good video! I like your technique to remove the bearing without a bearing pulling kit. As I have never done this the one question, I have is how to align the center spacer. I saw you just dropped it in there and seated the last bearing. Is it just floating in there and when you put the axel through everything aligns and then you tighten down it compresses and holds everything aligned? Can you explain this part?
Yes, that's it! It can also depend on the bike. The GasGas (from the video) was like that. My current bike, a Beta, does the alignement of the bushing through the outside bushings (the ones sitting between the bearing and the swingarm)
Hello, dear friend. I put one bearing completely inside the seat, but the original spacer is about 0.5 mm bigger and the second bearing does not fit completely inside the seat. Does this not cause a problem? If I hit the second bearing more, they become completely stiff and it is no longer possible to rotate the bearings with a finger. Thanks.
@@StepstoPodium sick. I’m doing mine this weekend and ordered a bearing removal kit because I didn’t think there was another way to do it lol. I’ll keep it.. it’ll be useful on the next rebuild.
it might depend on the bike but the as long as the bushing is "stuck" between both bearings, between the smaller diameter tracks, all good! if after replacing the bearings you can still easily move the bushing up and down, it might be worn or you should check the user manual to see if there are no other components missing perhaps (it's a pure guess )
This is the only video that worked! Great explanation with the logics behind it. Thank you

Best tutorial i've seen on here. Well done, sir!
thank you so much! 😊💪
@@StepstoPodium are the bearings the same size for all dirt bikes
@Hassaan Zaheer no, they are not! It depends a lot on the manufacturer

Nice one! Well done!loved the 3d animation
thank you so much! I really appreciate that, it gave me a hell of a work but I think it paid off :)
Very helpful. Keep sharing your tips on gas gas.
sure will 😉

How often should we have to Greege our bearing?

If that's the case, then it's a problem. The bearing should rotate freely
@@StepstoPodium Thank you for your response. Sincerely
I feel like a bearing remover tool would be a much better way to ensure you don’t damage the hub?
It's always quicker and safer, but ifcyou do it properly, there's no problem 💪

thank you for watching! 😊
what socket and ratchet set do you use?
You made it look tooo easy
Trust me, when you do it right, it's easy! 👌😊
Excelente vídeo :)
Obrigado José 🙂
Thank u
Very good
Thank you!!
is there usually a spesific side the bearing has to be installed?
Usually no! 😊
Help me a lot thanks
I'm glad I could help! 😊
Hey man, my bushing in the middle of the wheel is moving up and down, and I can move it with my finger, do my bushing or bearing need replacement?
it might depend on the bike but the as long as the bushing is "stuck" between both bearings, between the smaller diameter tracks, all good!

Awesome
So I forgot to grease the hub where bearing sits before putting it in... Should I be worried about that?
If you replace the bearings on time, it shouldnt be, but if you leave them be for longer than they should be, it will bd tricky to take out!
Awesome 👍💯
🙌🙌
Please tell me the size of bearing that you changed?
I have no idea 😅
i have a after market rear rim and it has 4 bearings, is this normal?
It can have, yes! The more bearings you have, the less load you'll have on each bearing
Are the bearings the same size for all dirt bikes
No
