The trouble with showing something like this, is eventually greedy big companies will move in and take it away from the people
I don't think the amount of gold they were finding is very lucrative to large companies. At least, I wasn't impressed with it compared to what I find in the US. But, it could be there are better gold deposits hiding close by, perhaps deeper on bedrock, that more experienced miners could find.
The less you say the better when you say that over the internet people get the idea
Yes I agree ur not helping these people! Ur just letting more people know about it. I prospect and ur making me want to go FFS!
@@G53X0Y0Z0tbh the gold you get in rivers mostly get collected into those rocks that have nooks and cranies full of gold in it and its in huge amounts for sure companies could get into that maybe those that work in jewelry maybe gold nuggets suit them alot
Do not worry.. they will form a company.. 😂
This video was gold! Literally and figuratively. I was fascinated by the different methods and techniques of gold mining in different countries. You did a great job of showing the contrast between the easy and abundant gold panning in Laos, and the dangerous and difficult compressor mining in the Philippines.
You are a very brave and adventurous explorer, and I admire your curiosity and passion. Thank you for this eye-opening and educational video. Keep on hunting for more treasures!
Those gold divers in paracali are special forces ,no fear .I know the struggle for survival is beyond belief .thanks Mr Andrew F. for this video it's wonderful.❤️
Loving these videos! I, like many, found you via Sonny's channel but your content is just as entertaining as much more informative! All you need is to see what kind of editing and format works for you and you'll be surpassing that weird bandana guy hehe
Holy shit 100K subs already? First watched you 8 months ago! Definitely well deserved.
Thanks, appreciate it.
your videos are much more interesting to watch that those of your buddy Sonny Side (and without the corny jokes). your channel will blow up to be as big or even bigger than his in a very near future.
Here from BEFRS
Andrew bro!! it's amazing how much your channel has grown! :D congrats!!
Well they're not top secret now, great job
Pretty cool i still want Irish ☘️ gold
Feels like a dream feels like magic!!
thank you
Tough life for these people it would appear but some luck would make their day/week/month no doubt so it must be worth chasing when nothing else earns as much or isn't as available. Great narration by the way. Very enjoyable.
It's interesting for me that how to get gold in different country and different ways. Thx
They need petter pans with ridges that catch the heavy gold. but i love the video, im hooked!
In Quảng Nam Province used to have illegal gold mining too… in Đông Giang.
Hey Andy, How do they divide the money. Is it a communal fund.? Does the diver get more because of the risk.? Once again I'm humbled by the effort people go through just to survive. Seeya next time ✝️
They split the gold and cash evenly-no extra cut for the diver. Sounds nuts, right? The lady I interviewed in Laos is the boss. Schedules, sells the gold, and handles the cash. It is a tough gig in the Philippines mines, but in Laos, it feels almost like an escape compared to the usual grind and what others do to get by there.
@@Andrew_Fraser Always impressed by the communal cooperation. I hope if they put in a Gold mine that it doesn't destroy the beautiful country side.
Gold is at all time high right now
amazing!
Hello, did he say 500 000 kip for 0.3 grams or 0.39 grams? Thanks
great vid. do one on cambodia ,thailand and vietnam on this subject.
High level 😊
Nice job advertising this to the world for views (money)
Great job.
??
nice
I have lived in Lao for the last 17 yers. The village I live in does not pan for gold as there is a dam about 30 KM up strem that is collecting all the sediment. It is important to know that you cant just move to another villlage in Lao you have to have permision from the other villagers to move there. I am retired and have lived in many places around the world I think Lao is a great cheap place to live even if you cant find any gold. One last point is that gold paning suits the way they think, doing repetative things for long periods of time is something that is easy for them, like planting and harvesting rice or cassava
Hi Chris,
Is the mining in Lao legal ?
I’m surprised nobody is using a gold dredge in the rivers there.
I’m assuming you’re Perko that Todd from “Now in Lao” always refers to when pointing out nice timber.
it’s surprising that the Chinese haven’t set up illegal mining operations over there as they have done in Africa. they will poison that idyllic river with the mercury that they use in their extraction method.
@@ckwicko Not sure about legality, but it all depends who you pay off as to wether it is doable or not. As to who I am , yes guilty as charged.
I am Laos
❤❤
Bigeat gold pan i have ever seen
It's time to move back home
Nice 👍🏾. Have to move there 😂
Laos people looks like local people in Southern Philippines.
❤❤❤
That’s no surprised at all cuz of lot of golds .
I came from Laos. Proteus to be Lao but now Laos is taken over by china ! The Chinese is taking all our gold, our trees and all the resources , including our electricity the Chinese also benefits from our rivers by building many dams!!
The title said top secret location but you showed with map and road 😂
All of the girls are sitting on a gold mine!
❤
The word is “un-tolled” not “untold”.
Hmmmmm
Liquid mercury.. wth
Let get some machines there , and take their land
China is well and truly onto it my man. That land is as good as gone.
@@Andrew_Fraser may God help them..
Nope.
Thanks. Im going there with my bulldozers and mining equipments
Everyone is gonna have gophy right now. That you shown this video and you've ruined it for the families around there
Ur not helping these people
And now they will be moved out.
Andrew is one of those rare TH-camrs who just spits out gold always (pun intended) 🫶🏾
Foul
- ROAD TO 1 MILLION SUBS! KEEP GOING *MY FRIEND* !! You deserve it. Absolutely love your content. ❤ #roadto1mill
Are you the same guy who was eating food with Sonny (best ever food review show)?
wow how to find the gold, thank for this beautiful video
Gold is ~$2,450 per troy oz (31.1035 grams) today... which translates to ~$78.77 per gram. A quarter gram of 24kt gold would be worth $19.69 pre assay fee (say 10%), so it's $17.72... which is prob quite a bit in rural Philippines. That said, they prob have to share the gold with the other miners, and prob don't get full spot market price as the wholesaler prob want more than just 10% for their effort... which is unfortunate.
I would love to buy one of those wooden Beta pans ! Great video
keep making videos Andrew! Best Ever Gold Review Show!
They need to get more sluices and rocker boxes, a pressure washer, and some shovels. Black sand is a good sign... but they need to modernize to process more material. Panning by hand isn't very efficient (but environmentally friendly).
This is some INCREDIBLE content man. This channel is GOING to get at least 10 x bigger by the end of 2025.
theirs break the river.so how the villager.Omg😮villager overthere can't use the water😢😭.
The ounce is about us$2400 . I shoult a hut in Laos and spent some time searching for gold.
The title said top secret location but you showed with map and road 😂
I know of a place similar & you can see a few gold flakes every handful
We are in the wrong business mate!
@@Andrew_Fraser Teehee , i don't think so. You have your own little Gold mine developing. Ahh one day!!
Wow interesting show but you've just ruined these poor people's future!
Amazing
Oh snap.
Looks like Laos need some Democracy! 🇺🇸 🦅
They tried that already. The secret war didn’t go so well.
Wait... Did you say...
wooden pans?
Hell i gunna have to see how they make these things now.
You should introduce them to Western style classification mesh pans and ribbed gold pans, they have magnetic black sands so magnetic separation would be ideal tools as well.
American gold minders gonna be coming in by the droves now.
Nah. It’s all Chinese mining in Laos.
Congrats..
As soon as you see that incandescent flash of unmistakable yellow in the shade of the pan, you tend not yo want to ho back..
I don't think any of these folks are getting rich from the gold they are finding.
I can hardly see it.
If they had proper cold pans they would probably do better.
Clay is not the best place to find gold
- 9:07 I'd feel eventually will be worse for the villagers because *they are essentially loosing* money, correct? 💰
Ok tedi
BHP r coming
I love ur videos
Thanks for your efforts mate
❤❤❤
