Roughly 66% fibre to 33% resin in the end product however in practice slightly more than half by weight resin would be used and the excess squeezed out during manufacture. To really make natural fibre composites a truly sustainable product more research needs to be done bio resin technology.
You can use the coir needle felt for sound absorption plate. It doesn't need to press tight, it's in fact better when not pressed. For easier installation, the coir needle felt plates should be glued to those pressed plates
Most fibreglass and carbon fibre composites use 66% fibre to 33% resin. So by weight half the the weight of the fibre is used for the resin quantity but in practice slightly more resin is used and the excess is squeezed out under pressure during the curing process. It would require some experimentation as I would imagine natural fibres would be more absorbent than synthetic fibres but the above would serve as a rough starting point.
Bruce Ryan I doubt it Bruce ., coir fibre has higher lignin content greater than teak wood. So the ply produced by coir is top quality wrt strength. I doubt the same with sisal or other fibres.
Phenol(Mildly acidic, it requires careful handling because it can cause chemical burns.) Formaldehyde(is a colorless, strong-smelling gas used in making building materials and many household products. It is used in pressed-wood products, such as particleboard, plywood, and fiberboard; glues and adhesives; permanent-press fabrics; paper product coatings; and certain insulation materials)
Once bonded it's fairly safe, but the dust in this factory from cutting finished product would be a concern, and the fumes from the hydraulic press. But, probably best I don't get started on the health and safety concerns ;¬)
How to put coco coir together? And make it like fabric? Can someone help me? What is the ingredients inorder to make it? Manually Thank you! Please somebody reply!! 🙏
Wow! No need to cut trees, save earth! we can build a house using this product! What an awesome discovery!!
process is poisonous as fcuk
Glad to see Industrial use of coir composites.
Whats the machine that makes the coir into lining? Can you purchase a small-scale one anywhere?
What kind of glue do you use as a binder?
very extraordinary with advanced technology, here in Indonesia there are lots of coconut coir but there is no factory like this
Audio is overlapped by high volume music which is very annoying. Very important subject .
Very nice and informative video 👌👌
Thanks for sharing and posting this.
Very good 😊
I want to visit this factory. Where are you?
Hey. Can we get phenol formaldiyde
Kindly provide manufacturing ingredients' ratio, process and final properties of phenol - formaldehyde resin for making coir composite.

Nice products..
Please share glue or adhesive name
Is it sustainable and compstable? If polystirene is added it is a failure. If there is a natural glue' it is impressive.
Bradar Coco bade passing mashin haw mach
fantastic super
Coco fiber katalis resin??
SubhanAllah
Good informationnnn
May I know how percent resin needed to process 1meter square of coir composite with 10mm thickness
Is this a good alternative for acoustic treatment or sound absorption?

which place is this and do give training?
Given in the beginning of the video, kochi
Dear..
how to treat young head waste?
I am very much interested with this and I would like to know the complete information to start my own production of coir products.

don't defibre retain pith.
don't use water. maintain self adhesive. pith has no carbon.
do it soluble.
