He probably knows that it will come again. Next year he does the Tour-Vuelta double. Then the following year it's back to the Giro, where he wins, goes to the Tour, wins that, and just for giggles wins the Vuelta.
@@MattRogersdesigns Although I'd like to think what you say is possible, a healthy, properly trained Jonas is a formidable GT opponent for Pog, it's not going to be as easy as it was this year. Oddly...or should I say, predictably, you focused SOLELY on Ineos' Josh Tarling as the favorite for the SECOND ITT, when I would fully expect WvA or Roglic to be the main contenders at that stage of the race.
I suspect Roglic isn't on full peak form given the year he has had. Sepp might be fresh. Hoping it will be a battle between those two with Carapez, Almeida and Yates in the mix.

Why don't they just put sprint points within the first 30km. Then sprinters get a chance to compete but also have to finish the race to stand a chance to actually win. Need to rethink points.
Joao takes the win. Roglic will crash out on one of the many descents. Afraid the pressure will take its toll on Sepp so he loses buckets of time intentionally to do stage hunting.
