Hi Sophie & Dave, I live in Florida. My recommendation would be to stay in a off site hotel. I personally love any Marriott especially grande vista. The rooms include a kitchen which is a plus to me. You can cook breakfast and enjoy lunch and dinner at the parks or even cook dinner as well (this is what my hunny and I do) which saves us a lot of money. Any hotel off site really can save you more than staying at any Disney hotel. Some of the offsite also have transportation to the parks. Hope this information helps! Love watching your videos ❤️
Lilibeth Sanchez I find the with the transportation provided offsite the shuttles only come at set times which makes flexibility difficult unless u pay for an Uber or similar to get back which eventually adds up if u end up using them a lot. We also personally don’t want to go on holiday to cook 👩🍳. Each to their own I guess x
Hi Sophie! I just wanted to let you know about your hair if you want to keep your length you can apply a lot of conditioner with slip to the area and comb out very patiently an inch at a time from bottom working your way to the roots. I have seen people comb out dreadlocks. It can be done. 😊💕
I have been going every year since 2004! We go every January! The weather is super nice and crowds are moderate! We get the regular dining plan and love it! Worth every penny and you don’t have to worry about paying out of pocket! Also we stay at Bay Lake Tower typically which is super expensive but worth it because you can walk right to Magic Kingdom!
We stayed at the clarion inn last year and had an amazing time! It’s quite a basic hotel - pool areas quite small and so is the restaurant but the rooms we on comparison to Disney value resorts! Comfy and clean! They also have a free bus service to Epcot then you can hop parks using Disney transport! Hope you find something💗
We've stayed at the Clarion at lake Buena Vista 4 times and love it there. It's so close to Disney with great restaurants nearby. I'd describe it like our premier inns, clean but basic. Much love to you both. x x
We found the Clarion Inn provided us with just what we needed aswell. We didn’t find the shuttles flexible enough for us but we are strange and like to go back to the resort for a little while then back to the parks which the shuttles didn’t allow us to :(. We’ve since stayed onsite and never looked back. If we weren’t suckers for the DDP and the transport on Disney every 20 mins or so we would definitely stay at clarion inn again x
You should make a trip to Disneyland if you have never been. There’s so many good neighbor hotels within a 5 minute walk from the parks entrance that are cheap compared to Disney World. The two parks definitely offer a lot different of an experience compared to Orlando and the performers/shows are a lot better in my opinion. Plus the history gives it a little more magic.
In 2016 I stayed at Clarion Inn Lake Buena Vista, it was nice and just what we needed I suppose. We have stayed onsite since though the last 2 years and again this year. We tend to always stay at CBR. Tbh what we found was that even though hotel etc was cheaper when we got there it is actually more cost effective to stay at Disney the time u factor in meals, transport etc. We always do QS as we love the flexibility and are doing BOG breakfast and lunch, pizzafari family style dining and the new restarauntasaurus burger and sundaes (we go in September) these are all QS credits and pizzafari and the burger and sundae meal look great value. If u wanna ask more about clarion inn feel free to send me a message. In all honesty there is no where like on property in my opinion though after doing IDrive, lake buena vista and onsite. Depending on when u want to go, sometimes (most of the time) they do like room discounts - so if u stay at CBR (where we always tend to stay) and add on QS dining even AKL sometimes, they come out at the same price as free dining x
We stayed there 2017 & will be heading back this October. We will stay a couple of days onsite & then switch to the Clarion. We do enjoy it, because we also visit a lot off things outside of Disney and there are quite a few shops, restaurants, bars around. We used a combination of their free transfer to Disney & Universal & Lyft to get around. We even walked to the hotel a couple of times from Disney Springs. :) Victoria from Disney in Detail has a couple of Vlogs where she is staying there.
Melanie S I love Victoria’s vlogs but I noticed on one of her announcements or trip reports recently (I’m sure it was Victoria and Ian’s announcement) they said it was unlikely they would stay offsite again not sure why though can’t remember but she has loads of vlogs from her trips there. We don’t do much outside of Disney tbh. I guess it what suits everyone’s plans and what they intend to do. The clarion inn is definitely ideal and good value for money if not doing the parks often (not to say the shuttles don’t suit others as it’s quite popular, and others aren’t as fussy as we are 🙈). We walked to DS one night was a lovely walk as it was a nice “cool” night we really enjoyed it x
you can book at disney french quarter port orleans in may onwards with quick service dining plan and tickets. moderate resort. disney transportation PLUS ferry taxi to disney springs as and when you want to go plus riverside (sister hotel) just 10 minutes walk up the sassagoula river. we go every time. there in october this yeatr. small quaint and new orleans theme. fantastic.
Janet Payne ooh we’ve booked to stay here for aug/sept 2020,. We’ve only ever stayed onsite once before but that was nearly 20 years ago. I loved the idea of getting a boat to Disney Springs. We’re now debating wether to upgrade to the dining plan rather than just the quick service , so any views on either would be great. 😊
@@laurarooney-marsh8043 hi Laura. We have the quick service dining. It suits us as we are not bothered about waiter service. Booked for be our guest at magic kingdom even with quick service. You can book this 180 days prior to arriving. Also book fast passes 60 days too by staying on property! If you have email I can try and send you some photos. Are you in UK?
Janet Payne hi Janet yes I’m in the UK we live in Cornwall. I think we’ll be ok with the quick service too as my lot only want to do Be our guest for breakfast or lunch. My email is laurarooney-marsh@hotmail.co.uk. We can’t wait, my girls will be 22 & 14 when we go & my nephew is also coming with his wife & little boy who’ll be 3. We went to Orlando in May but stayed onsite at Universals Cabana Bay so only did Universal apart from Hollywood Studios after Party which was fun. I really need a Disney fix now 😂
Been watching you two for years but never commented on any of your videos. Just want to say you are my favourite couple on youtube because you are both so real and genuine :) the love you have for each other is lovely to watch :) keep up the lovely vlogs!
Would you guys ever consider doing a video explaining the dining plans and Disney tips etc ? Me and my boyfriend are in the process of booking out first WDW holiday and we are finding it all so confusing !! xx
We love you guys so much! You’re our favorite channel! And you’re Staci’s “comfort channel” (meaning she puts you on when she feels stressed or needs something to lull her to sleep like a sweet lullaby) 😂! But seriously we think you guys are great! We are moving from New England to Orlando- in part so we can vlog in the parks more easily, so we hope to meet you someday! ❤️❤️❤️
Hey guys don't forget about renting dvc points!! You could always stay at akl in a value studio villa for like 750ish a week depending on time of year but you have to book it 11 months out to the day to get that good a deal.
Me and my partner stayed last time at the rosen Inn International and its central to Disney and universal if you are doing both and so many reasonable priced food options close by.. Loved it.. Wherever you stay your together I'm sure you'll love it xxx
I can recommend a budget hotel in Orlando. This year we stayed at The Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando. Ok, it’s on International Drive but it’s a great location. We used Uber to WDW a few times which wasn’t too expensive but the hotel does have a shuttle to WDW but we didn’t use it. You’re close to both the outlets and you can get there using the I-Ride Trolley which stops outside the hotel. We used it loads as there are lots of affordable restaurants close by also within walking distance. The hotel is close to Sea World and Universal. It’s very affordable this hotel. If you want to be closer to WDW, look at the sister hotel The Clarion Inn at Lake Buena Vista. Lots of vloggers recommend this one too. We’re considering it in the future. We have also stayed at the Wyndham Hotel at Disney Springs. You currently get all the Disney benefits like 60 day fast passes etc but it’s more expensive. Look at DS hotels, you can get some good deals and walking to DS is fun.
Heidi Wood #ATD! No idea why they haven’t already! They’ve sponsored the same vlogger twice (two different Disney places), she has great videos and still sponsor said vlogger as she does do awesome videos but definitely time to work with Sophie and Dave I think x
maybe try splitting up the flight, villa and car hire. my aunt went not long ago and she seen flights for £250pp. villa for around £300-£500 per week, car hire is not to bad and is so easy to drive over there, i do it every year. This is just a thought, we're going in October
Look in to the Disney Springs resorts. We like the Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace in Disney Springs. Very nice pool area, disney buses to the parks and right across the st from Disney Springs. We stayed at Comfort Suites Maingate East (just off the 192 behind Old Town) last October as a last minute booking. We found a great deal with Virgin holidays and you also get breakfast. The rooms are huge and very clean. It's in walking distance to old town and about 10 minutes to Disney by car. They also have a hotel shuttle bus to the parks (not sure how good this is as we had a car). It was so good that we've booked to go again next year after a 5 night stay first on disney property! Love your vlogs so much - you always put a smile on my face!! xx
This is where I have stayed the past 2 times I have been to Florida and love it!! The shuttle is free, but they generally only offer 1 bus to and from the parks (both Disney and Universal). So you basically have to spend a full day in the parks if you want to use their bus. The Disney shuttle also only leaves you to Hollywood Studios so you've to make your way to all the other parks using Disney transport. We used the Lynx buses to get back to Old Town though when we were too tired for long days. Hopped on it at the Ticket and Transportation centre and it cost $2 per guest.
Hi there thanks for another great video love it!. Good luck with your hair. I go to Disney world 2x a year and stay at Westgate vacation villas in 1bedroom villa since 2002 good place clean n big. Close to everything walk to Wal-Mart n restraunts n quick cheap uber if not taking their bus trans. They have 14 pools n water park for dave! A lot other amenities but we r all there for disney. The song you was singing was from the classic Neverending Story ... it was made in around 1982/84 ish lol not to sure the year but around that time period lol xx
We are staying off site next year at Hawthorn suites by Wyndham palm parkway Lake Buena vista minutes from Disney Springs includes breakfast every day very reasonably priced nice quiet hotel after all your only sleeping there 💕💕
I booked an xmas trip after you hinted at a Christmas trip a few weeks back. We only went in june!!! Booked flights with virgin (Norwegian air cheaper though) from gatwick staying at red lion hotel (closest non disney hotel to parks) £500 for 10 nights (first two weeks in December). Booked through travel republic and only asked for £15 deposit. Bargain. All because you planted that disney xmas seed in my head!!!! ... hope you guys find a way of getting there!!
What a lovely video again :) Haha Chip with the biggest stick ever...was more like half a tree haha :p Silly boy Oh I hope you guys get to go to WDW! Maybe try to go at the beginning of April because I'LL BE GOING TO WDW aaaahhhhhhh sorry, I'm so so so excited, my mum surprised me and my daughter(but she doesn't know yet, it is so darn hard to keep it quiet) with a 9 day WDW trip and I can't deal with the excitement :p We booked our hotel and tickets(seperately) via Attraction Tickets Direct because they had an offer on the tickets(adults at kids prices . + a $20 Disney giftcard per person) and it was cheaper than WDW and other travel agencies so we booked that aaahhhh soooooo excited. Did I mention I was so SO EXCITED? :p sorry haha :p The last time I was 16 and we only went to Epcot that time, so it's been 20 years! I'm so happy to be showing my little girl around over there. She's gonna freak out when we tell her on her 10th birthday in february.
I did like season 3 stranger things but there were a few things they didn’t explain properly! I reckon they could explain them in season 4 but personally thought they should have left it there! X
It is so much cheaper to stay off site, I’ve seen a lot of vlogs where people stay at Disney for 3 nights then off site for the the rest 10-12 days, we we like villa but that’s for 5-7 of us when there was just 2 we stayed at omni champions gate it was only £100 per night
We did a cheapy trip £220 return flights with TUI to Sanford. Then 10 nights at RedLion Kissimmee. Hotel was fine - not Ak standards ;) and Dave wouldn’t need to worry about getting an Uber to wal mart as it’s next door. :)
Ahhh really want to watch this but only on E4 of stranger things ( trying to not binge it) I’m trying to stay away from everything. Lol. Look forward to watching after the weekend. 🙋🏽♀️
The Play That Goes Wrong will be here in Orange County, California I want to go see it! Also, I go to Disneyland every Friday and would like you send you another tumbler cause we have the same one here. Do you have a PO Box where I can send it or should I message you on Instagram for a better address?
Hi both, just wondering who you book Disney with to only have to pay £100 deposit for next year please? My partner and I have been looking since June but we can’t guarantee specific dates to have the time off until next month. Last month the package we were looking at was £1k cheaper and I wish we had of know that we could put such a low deposit down. Love your videos 💖💖 xx
Victoria Dunn I’m looking at booking a Disney trip upfront, but I noticed right now Tui seem to be offering 0% deposit, I don’t know if that is worth looking into for you? 💕
Nothing quite beats a new Sophie and Dave vlog!

Oh I hope you guys get to go to WDW! :p sorry haha :p
The last time I was 16 and we only went to Epcot that time, so it's been 20 years!
You should stay at the bonnet creek resort, it is where I stay every trip when I go down.
We did a cheapy trip £220 return flights with TUI to Sanford. Then 10 nights at RedLion Kissimmee. Hotel was fine - not Ak standards ;) and Dave wouldn’t need to worry about getting an Uber to wal mart as it’s next door. :)
Disney just announced deals this week for fall and Winter....including free dinning.
I love you two!!!
Dave looking cool with the hair back, beard and shades look 😜
Ahhh really want to watch this but only on E4 of stranger things ( trying to not binge it) I’m trying to stay away from everything. Lol. Look forward to watching after the weekend. 🙋🏽♀️
Ok, after hearing the song I want to watch The Never Ending Story lol. I also probably should start on Stranger Things.
Great vlog guys, so loved your Disney vlogs, you make a great couple together. The food look good. #SGFAM
We're staying in Rosen Inn International Drive when we go in October
Would u ever try the Disney cruise or aulani resort in Hawaii?
Stranger Things Season 3 was AMAZING 😍
Clicked on your video straight away!!!! ❤️
You made me laugh about having to rush on your wedding day....we got married in Orlando at 11am : )
The Play That Goes Wrong will be here in Orange County, California I want to go see it!
Also, I go to Disneyland every Friday and would like you send you another tumbler cause we have the same one here. Do you have a PO Box where I can send it or should I message you on Instagram for a better address?
Dave would make an amazing Arendelle historian after the play that goes wrong! 😁
Does soon have raynauds? < sorry I have no idea how to spell it. But it can make you cold
Did you see you were on louise pentland vlog?

Hi both, just wondering who you book Disney with to only have to pay £100 deposit for next year please? My partner and I have been looking since June but we can’t guarantee specific dates to have the time off until next month. Last month the package we were looking at was £1k cheaper and I wish we had of know that we could put such a low deposit down. Love your videos 💖💖 xx
Victoria Dunn I’m looking at booking a Disney trip upfront, but I noticed right now Tui seem to be offering 0% deposit, I don’t know if that is worth looking into for you? 💕
Georgia Bainbridge Thank you so much lovely, I will have a look. 👀💖xx
Victoria Dunn plus they are offering the free dining in 2020 and have quite good deals for 2020 ☺️ I really hope you get to go! 💕
Victoria Dunn booking with Disney direct offer a 50pp deposit x
I’m married for a year last week and I still love saying ‘my husband’. 😍
