    I got to the MadCard txt file part but i can't find a file like that, none of my mods have one, so i'm kinda lost on how to get that type of file with all that stuff set up

      I recommend using the madcard maker to generate a melee madcard that you can use.

    Do you think you could find out how shields need to be set in unity?
    Since despite working most of the things identical to melee weapons, when blocking or holstering it wont place itself properly in one of them

      I actually did a shield the other day and they are quite weird. Honestly it was just kind of a lot of trial and error and rotating the gameobject to see what worked. Once you pop the shield into the prefabs it should give you a little preview of the model's position, that preview is generally quite accurate to how it is in game.

      I've tried to add one, issue being that when blocking it may face the proper way, but when holstered it faces the wrong way aka sideways
      Or all vice versa, when blocking holds it sidesway, when holstered holds it properly
      But I'll see what I can do I guess

    How would it be so that the name of the reference weapon does not appear (the bat in this case) how would it be done? I would also like to know if I want the weapon to only be used with one hand, would removing the other handle be a viable option?

      You can just not have a root weapon. Root weapons are more or less optional.
      If you want a weapon to be one handed, you can change the "size" stat, sizes of 0-2 can be one handed by most characters, and 3+ will require higher strength stats to one hand.
