I really enjoyed your video. I am glad I found you! So many set up videos are by young teachers very early in their careers. I am starting year 25 and enjoyed watching you process how to best set up your new space. I knew you were contemplating from a place of experience just by watching the way you worked it all out. Thank you for sharing your expertise! Your students will love your theme!
Interesting! Sixth grade is a great age to teach! They need so much nurturing being the youngest middle schoolers. It’s interesting that you do History 1865-Present at that age level. In NC, sixth grade is an ancient civilizations course. I absolutely loved teaching that course!
I can tell you are experienced and have definitely done this before. You had the same conversation with yourself that I have every summer. Counting the tile to measure cracked me up. Exactly the same thing I do. I would set up the room just as you described. 😂
LOL 😂 I’ve had too many classroom setups that had to be reworked once kids got in the room! I mean, there will always be shifts but I like to think I have it down to a science now. I challenge an administrator to come in my room after I’ve spent hours like this and ask if I want to move something! DEATH 💀 STARE 🔥🤣
I’m also a NC teacher :) Trying to figure out how to configure everything is the hardest part to me. Can’t wait to see what you do with your new space!!
It definitely takes the longest! Plus I feel like I always end up moving some things around once I get the kids in there. 😂 They find all my design flaws!
Awww 🥰 Love those goldens! They are the best dogs ever! What’s your pup’s name? I AM looking forward to working with that blank canvas! Lots of painting coming up in future videos! 🤗

Idea 💡 put some kind of heavy duty hanger on the outside od locker for coat if you want them to hang them but not in closet 🤔
Yeah, I definitely do not want the costs in the closet. I need to think of a creative way to use those pegs for my teacher storage.
So glad I found you! The beginning of the video with you at home, my golden was very interested in your sweet golden
