Ballygunner helped to end the expectation of Ballyhale winning title after title after title and now the Shamrocks are the 2023 All Ireland champions. Ballygunner deserved to win it for the first time, but the Ballyhale men made sure that it wasn't going to happen twice 😊

Imagine the sub never scored that last minute goal, there’d be no documentary. 23 Waterford titles and only 1 all Ireland, says more about how poor Waterford club hurling is more than anything else. Great team but still, some perspective would be no harm. If a kilkenny or galway club won 1 all ireland there’d be no documentaries .

We'd all be all ireland champions if our gaa club had a pick of a population of 40,000 in a city that has barely 2 other decent clubs. It would remind you of corofin, it covers 3 different parishes and 18km of road.
